Multiple Gods sighed at the same time

"Guessed it hah" Thoth laughed at an Old God who bet for a chance that Brian would choose a faction other than Veda.

Brian stood with no expression on his face while facing the entire group of Gods gazing at him with interest. He knew that any wrong move at this point will offend the entire group of these Gods. He didn't want such an enemy for himself at an early stage.

He suddenly gave a deep bow to each and every God present there before opening his mouth.

"It is the honour of this little one to be invited by such powerful Gods.

It will be a grave sin for me to decline anyone of you taking effort to invite me for my own benefit but unfortunately I can choose only 1 faction. As you all know that Lord God Shiva saved me from the attack of a goblin God named Hruggek. Being saved by the faction of Veda makes me unable to decline.

I deeply apologise to the Yin-Yang Faction, Khalsa Faction, Zen Faction, Asgard faction, Khalsa Faction, One tech Faction…"

Without showing any hastiness on his face, Brian continued to tell the names of all the factions introduced to him which were 218 in total.

It was only after he finished the long list and said a few beautiful words to the Gods, he walked towards Hanuman and stood beside him.

"Who said you can only choose 1 Faction?" A loud voice broke the polite atmosphere Brian had created.

It was Sun Wukong, who was surprisingly kept quiet the entire time.

"Sun Wukong! Are you trying to break the All Faction Rules?" A bulky God shouted

Sun Wukong ignored his voice and continued speaking

"I am not telling you to join 2 factions because it's not allowed as you just heard. I am speaking on my own behalf.

If you get a ranking amidst the top 1000 in the All Student Ranking Tournament then I, Sun Wukong will personally give you one of my Divine Arts." He spoke in a solemn yet thunderous voice

Brian straightened his body on hearing the severity of this tone, unlike the normal Sun Wukong.

"This junior will try his level best to get top 800 rankings" Brian said with self-confidence and fighting spirit burning in his eyes.

He didn't know what the All Student Ranking was, but he did know that if he said that he will try his best then he might get a benefit or two from the other Gods even if he can't.

After this small incident, every God other than Hanuman left there by either flying, teleporting, or running extremely fast.

Hanuman gave him a big thumbs up which directly indicated to the way Brian handled the situation.

"Sit tightly, and don't fall" Hanuman gave those simple words to Brian

'WHY WILL I FALL, WHERE TO SIT???' Brian was having second thoughts about his choice at this moment.

"om"

"!!!!" Brian didn't know what to say

He saw Hanuman growing his entire body in such a fast speed that his head was above the clouds almost instantly.

Brian then, saw his tail coming for him and a bad feeling captured his heart.

'Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…!!!!' He inwardly shouted after getting wrapped up like a package in his long tail and getting carried behind him as he flew into the sky.

*flash*

He suddenly felt that wind around him seemed to form a protective layer. He didn't doubt that this phenomenon must be of Hanuman as well because he is also known as Pawan Putra Hanuman (Son of Wind God), controlling a bit of wind doesn't seem like a big deal for him.

Brian didn't know how big a deal that was, to control the wind element of Genesis Plane.

Under the wind's protective layer, Brian couldn't see anything of outside.

So, he chose to take a rest which had been procrastinated for a long time under the stress of entrance examination.

He dozed off without caring about anything in his surroundings. This little trick also had been learnt in the military back on earth.

The trip lasted for more than a few hours even for the mighty Hanuman.

*slam*

Hanuman crash-landed on the ground making Brian wake up from his sleep.

The wind cover was also released at the same time. Brian finally had something to see and it definitely wasn't ordinary.

He saw a large golden gate towering in the skies. Just the gate was so large that Brian couldn't even see its actual height. The material seemed to be different from the ones mentioned in the nameless book.

The other visible regions around the gate were all enclosed in a purple layer which gave Brian a dangerous feeling like never before. He felt that even if went within its 50 meter range of it then he would instantly die.

Hanuman had now returned to his original size and laughed as he looked at Brian's expression.

"Scared?" He chuckled

How could Brian have a timid image in front of a God, he forcefully changed his expression to indifference.

"Not so easily" He replied with no looks on his face

Hanuman didn't talk with him any further and led him into the gate.

A hooded individual mysteriously appeared in front of Hanuman and went disappeared in a few seconds. Brian guessed that they must have talked without speaking.

Brian's eyes were filled with excitement when he stepped into the giant golden gate.

He felt that he had passed through some kind of invisible barrier as a bright light occupied his sight.

"Welcome to the Veda Academy" A man proudly announced with a bright smile on his face

Brian looked here and there to find Hanuman first who wasn't seen to be found anywhere.

As if sensing what Brian was thinking, the man continued

"Lord Hanuman is already gone. He is also a teacher at the academy so you will definitely have a chance to see him in future"

Brian finally looked at the man in front of him. He had quite distinct features which included long black hair, an exquisite hairpin used to tie them up, a bright smile, luxurious clothes, and a sword in sheath which was tied to his waist.

That man had a constant smile on his face.

"This junior's name is Brian and I thank senior for his warm welcome. May I know how to call you senior?" Brian said in a general but respectful tone. It wasn't as respectful as he talked with the Gods earlier but it was the same respect he used when he talked with his military superiors on earth.

The man nodded at Brian's respect before answering

"My name is Aahan which means the first ray of light. You can call me just Aahan." Aahan explained

"I will be your guide and help you register for classes and also introduce a lot of other things on the way" He continued

Brian gratefully nodded and turned his head to look at the distant scenery.

He had an expression full of awe looking towards the sky.

4 large islands were floating in the sky. 4 different colours of protective layers around the island made it impossible to judge what was going on inside.

"Those are the 4 places in which you will spend all your time in the academy. Let's walk through them and I'll introduce them on the way."

Saying this, Aahan directly flew into the sky in the direction of the first Island which was covered with a White protective covering.

Brian looked at the flying figure in embarrassment. He didn't have the face to shout at him and reveal that he doesn't know how to fly.

Fortunately, Aahan noticed that he wasn't flying around and remembered the instructions from Lord Hanuman. He had instructed him to guide him through the very basics.

He quickly came back and noticed Brian's embarrassment.

"Oh fuck, I am very sorry. I was instructed by Lord Hanuman that you were given a special invitation and didn't go through the basics during the entrance exam.

Let me teach you…" He apologized immediately without any arrogant face making Brian have a high impression about him as well as the academy.

Before Brian could think anymore, Aahan's palm came on his back and mysterious energy flowed from his hands into Brian's body.

Brian had never felt such potent energy before. He quickly tried to absorb that energy into his body thinking that it was a good thing given by Aahan.

"Stop it!"

"Observe its flow" Aahan's voice fell in his ears making him halt his actions.

Brian closed his eyes and tried to observe the flow of that energy. It flowed in his body like fish swimming in water. Brian had no way to stop it. He suddenly felt the urgency to become stronger if he wanted to survive in this world.

Till then, the energy had finally reached Brian's feet.

"huh" Brian exclaimed

As soon as the energy left his body, he felt that it had been converted into some force making him able to float in the air.

Aahan suddenly removed his hand making Brian land on his feet again.

"Try it" He instructed and stood aside with his hands crossed like a teacher observing his student.

Brian nodded and tried to control the energy within his body.

After several minutes of trying, Brian wasn't even able to control one bit of his body energy, let alone make it flow.

"Not that energy" Aahan's stern voice came

Brian opened his eyes in confusion not knowing the meaning behind that sentence.

"You need to control the energy within your Divine World" Aahan judged the issue in a single glance and continued to give Brian some theory about the method to use the refined energy within the White energy.

He told Brian that a very refined energy is present in the Singularity (Normal one) which is optimum for one's own body use. It is made by refining the energy in a suitable form within the White Singularity.

The simple method to use it was to forcefully make the Singularity move in the opposite direction.

Brian instantly got the results as he tried to make the White Singularity move anticlockwise. A stream of energy left its center and appeared within Brian's body.

Controlling that energy was an easy task for him using the experience of cultivation manuals back in [Selection Area].

Brian had to suppress his emotions to not show the ecstasy in his mind. After all who doesn't dream of flying freely in the sky.
