Memories

Brian sat down on a small mat placed in the room upright in a crosslegged position.

Closing his eyes, he silently started accepting the memory that he got as a reward. The memory was just about cultivation so he didn't get any kind of extra benefits.

Brian's surroundings changed. He found himself overlooking a giant cloud of energy and small bits of dust and matter. The energy was blue in colour and the cloud was slightly humid. One could guess that the energy was slightly related to water.

The scenery soon started to change. It was as if a time-lapse had been started and Brian was seeing the fast-forwarded motion.

The bluish cloud began to swirl. It started swirling rapidly.

Brian then saw a grey crystal stone coming inside this world and the mysterious force being applied to crush it.

"WHAT!!" Brian couldn't help but exclaim

What he saw was out of the world.

He saw that something inexplicable broke out of that crystal and directly made the cloud swirl faster. Brian could judge that the cloud which was also called as Nebula wasn't moving faster but rather time itself was moving faster.

Brian saw the entire process without blinking his eyes in fear of missing any scene.

"hum!"

He saw the mysterious force reappear within this world and start to segregate energy and matter. This process took an unknown amount of time.

Once the energy and matter were separated. The entire cloud was divided into 2 halves. One having pale blue energy and the other having dust and bits of rocky material.

The mysterious force acted again and a small bright white light was separated amidst the huge Nebula.

That was the Singularity, the Original point sized Singularity.

"Seems like after Nebula Formation stage is done, Singularity doesn't burst but the energy around it bursts" Brian deduced.

Unfortunately, Brian didn't have any leisure time to think as the mysterious force acted yet again.

This time it separated the purest energy available from the energy half along with the hardest rock present from the other half. The purest energy and the hardest rocky substance were then held tightly above the Singularity.

The force made Singularity spin again and the pure energy that was held tightly above the rocky material started to get attracted by the Singularity. But due to the rocky substance being in middle the two weren't able to interact. This created a very high pressure on the small rocky substance which soon had signs of squeezing.

The mysterious force only stopped the spinning of Singularity once the rocky substance was thoroughly squeezed.

"Ohh!" Brian exclaimed as he understood the next stage of cultivation

Another best portion of energy was selected and the best rock was selected from both the halves and the process started yet again.

It was a very long and continuous process.

Fortunately, Brian didn't have to wait for long as the time-lapse started once again and the rocky material were squeezed at a rapid speed.

From the viewer's perspective, it seemed like the energy was acting like a glue by joining the rocky materials to the Singularity.

Under the effect of time-lapse a very high pressure and overflowing energy, a small ball was formed. It was visible that that small ball was hard enough to not break under any normal circumstances.

That small ball is called the 'Star Core'.

As soon as the star core was formed, the time-lapse stopped, and the mysterious force directly made the remaining slightly impure energy and smaller dust particles form a good mixture.

That mixture was then used tightly held above the Star Core with the mysterious force using its entire might to pressurize it.

With the mixture held on top, the Star once again started to spin rapidly which tempered the newly added mixture and made it stronger.

The time-lapse started once again and another grey crystal was burst for the nth time.

…

This process was very long even under the time-lapse effect but Brian didn't even blink his eyes.

He was just like a curious child observing everything around him which was contrary to his entire worldview. He never imagined that he could form a real Star within him.

More than one for him…

The process was finally completed and Brian could see a huge Star in front of him. That star was similar to a barren one but at the same time due to the affinity of energy towards water. The star had already formed a small stream of water which was a sign that most of the star would soon be covered with water in the upcoming times.

Just when Brian thought that this was the peak stage of Star Formation and the memories should be over by now, the mysterious force acted yet again and then covered the entire Star and lightly bound it.

"Ohhh, even this is possible" Brian exclaimed

A piece of information had appeared in his mind that if the Star is not bound by a barrier then the energy present inside it will slowly escape into the endless cosmos because after forming the Star Core, Singularity didn't have the same attracting force as earlier.

The mysterious force was just a temporary barrier while the cultivator had yet to create an actual barrier to not let the energy seep through.

After the force had lightly overlapped the Star. Another force kicked in and started to direct small amounts of energy that were remaining to form some kind of cross-stitching pattern.

Brian didn't understand the pattern but still memorized it, feeling that it would be useful.

The pattern was very unique as it actually braided energy together to form a protective barrier around the entire planet. The barrier wasn't transparent but it was rather slightly blue in colour due to the characteristic of the energy.

Once the barrier was formed, another piece of information was transmitted to Brian which said that if one has a lot of energy and rocky mass, even after creating the desired Star then one can form a Star without Singularity.

The Star that is formed without Singularity cannot have any life on it but it can definitely be used as a mineral Star.

*flash*

Brian was ejected out of the memory as he returned to his senses on the bed.

Turning his head to look at the alarm clock, he saw the number 6 flashing on it

"almost 9 hours…"

"Academy classes should begin at 8 am. I better wake up and get ready." Brian murmured as he woke up and prepared for his first day at Academy…
