Elysia walked out of her tower with Linda and as the students saw the veiled little witch, they all moved as far away as possible from her.
"Don't mind them Elysia. They are just scared of your powers that's all." Linda tried to comfort Elysia but Elysia just scoffed.
"Am I the one you're comforting? You should comfort them instead that nothing will happen to them as long as I don't intentionally set the whole school on fire just to find a way to sneak out." Elysia hissed looking around the school.
It has changed quite a lot since she was allowed out three months ago. Magicia was the largest magic School in all the seven continents. It was owned by Elysia's mother who created the school since she was eighteen years of age. Her mother was just the second generation of witches.
"Why don't you catch some fresh air while I go check out some things. I'll be back in a while." Linda left her in the main garden which was in the middle of the whole school.
Elysia sat on a nearby bench and relaxed, trying to catch some of the melody the sweet ocean behind the school was making but all she could hear were some students chattering and some students coming out of the dorm.
Different witches I'm different types of cloaks were walking around. Some who looked at her made sure they weren't within her earshot but Elysia was blessed with enhanced hearing. She only choose not to use it unecssarily.
New witches in their new year wears royal blue short cloaks that reached their hips, they were known as the beginners and the second year witches wear cloaks of the same color as the first year witches but theirs reaching their knees, they were known as the apprentices. The third year witches wore grey coloured cloaks that was a few inches below their knees with red tassels with tiny white crystals hanging down from the tassels and they were known as primaries.
The fourth year witches wore long black cloaks reaching just above their ankles with tassels like the Primaries with tiny white crystals hanging down. They were known as the scholars. The fifth year witches wore brown long cloaks reaching the same length as the Scholars and having the same tassels, they were known as the Senior scholars and then the sixth year wore red cloaks with white tassels and red crystals hanging down from the tassels, they also had a badge of Magicia on the right side of their chest, they were known as Junior Adepts.
Elysia just rolled her eyes as she saw them all pass. She could differentiate them even in her sleep. Linda had forced her to know how the school system works.
The Graduates would then graduate and start helping with the teaching of the first year witches and after a year or two, they'll be Adepts then they can be free to go out of the school.
"I wonder who the hell would dedicate fourteen years just because you want to be a skilled witch who knows everything." Elysia scoffed and her ears picked a bit of arguing not far from her. She looked up and saw a group of students in red cloaks not bullying a girl in Primaries.
"Didn't I ask you to clean up our dorm? How dare you disobey me?" The leader of the bullies who had blue hair.
"I'm sorry Junior Adept Isla. I was called by Adept Bella. I apologize deeply." The Primaries girl sobbed falling on her knees and her spell book and wands falling.
"So what? You should know what you ought to do after that. You should clean our dorms. I'll make sure you're severely punished for this." The leaders of the bullies known as Isla smirked wickedly.
"And who gave you the authority to bully the younger ones." Elysia's cold voice was heard from behind and they all turned coming face to face with the veiled witch.
"Mistress Elysia. I'm sorry but this matter is between those who share our dorms." Isla said as politely as she could.
"Really? I would tell my aunt right now to have you punished for bullying because you know as much as all of you here that that is not accepted and you have the guts to bully her openly and you'll then say you were correcting her." Elysia frowned.
"We're so sorry." Isla bowed.
Elysia didn't say a word and she just walked to the girl who was in the dust already with her cloak dirty. Elysia helped her up and could see the girl was afraid of her even more than the bullies.
"Here. You can't wear that to the dorm. To avoid questions.". Elysia removed the girl's cloak and another one appeared in mid air. Elysia handed it to her and wrapped the dirty on gently, placing her spell book and wand on it before walking back to her seat.
Then in the dorm, everyone has heard about her kind gesture. They couldn't help but talk about her.
"She's trying to lure the poor girl like the other girl so she would kill her."
"She would definitely get something out of that kind gesture."
"She doesn't think anyone will fall for that and be friends with her."
"I heard she was ugly and had zombie eyes that's why she wore the veils."
"I heard her mother hasn't even set eyes on her since her birth because she hated her."
Elysia didn't even care as she heard all this chatters. She just sat quietly observing the whole school. She could see how her tower looked tall and scary from where she sat. She saw a red barrier protecting it.
"Elysia." Linda called walking towards her. "I heard about what you did. That's so nice of you."
"Nice. I did something this minute, it has spread like wild fire the next minute." Elysia rolled her eyes and Linda chuckled patting her veiled hair.
"Why don't I show you some new things added to this school this past few months you didn't come out." Linda pulled her up and lead her towards the water fountain in the middle of the garden.
"I haven't approved aunt Linda." Elysia groaned as they got to the fountain.
"Look first." She pointed into the fountain.
Elysia looked into the fountain and saw sparkling crystals in it. There was blue, black, white, pink and other colours in it.
"Beautiful." Elysia commented as she put her hands inside and picked one crystal.
"Come on." Linda pulled her to the large flowing lake which Elysia hasn't seen before in the school compound.
"It's an artificial lake isn't it?" Elysia asked.
"Well the truth is it just came up out of nowhere a month ago. The water is so pure and clean. The water contains healing contents, it helps improve magic and it has plenty other properties." Linda explained.
Elysia putted her hand in the water and took a small amount in her hand before tasting it.
"This is the water from Lake Jasmine." Elysia gasped.
"Lake Jasmine?" Linda asked.
"Yes. Lake Jasmine is a special lake which was created by the first witch that ever lived and the moon goddess." Elysia explained.
"You mean lake Jasmine. You're pronouncing it wrongly." Linda chuckled and only got a frown from Elysia.
"No one knows where the lake is but looks like it has been travelling and it has reached here." Elysia explained and Linda nodded.
"It's very smart of you to know what it is." Linda oat her veiled hair and Elysia hit her hands away.
Twilight's screech made them look up and the owl landed on Elysia's wrist. "What's wrong boy?"
Twilight looked at Linda who was looking at him like she would strangle him before giving her a warning screech.
"Stop snarling at my pet Aunt Linda or else I won't mid him eating your whole skin off." Elysia threatened.
"You little.... Do you know who you're talking to?" Linda snarled.
"Magicia selezio Novo." Elysia said and a large fireball pushed Linda very far away from her but it didn't hurt her. "I found out this like water is from Lake Jasmine Twilight. Isn't it great?"
Elysia took a little of the water in her small bottle and kept it. Linda walked to her angrily.
"How can you push me away like that? You should respect me because I'm much older than you are." Linda warned.
"Says the person who used a whole month to master the spell I mastered in three days and wasn't still as perfect as mine." Elysia snorted walking down the Lake.
