Clue

After seeing how great the room was Jonathan checked the rest of the doors that were left and saw a similar scene to the first bedroom. Every person had their own bedroom that was fully equipped with every kind of thing that a person could want in a room especially when it came to hygiene which was not present outside the cabin.

'I wonder if there is anything to help in the game in here?' Jonathan thought to himself as he began searching the room that he claimed. Jonathan had left Tom in his room since he had seemed infatuated with the feeling of the comfortable bed but to Jonathan this was not a time to laze around too much but instead an opportunity to possibly find something that will give him an advantage in the next game.

Even after searching for a while Jonathan still found nothing inside the room so he decided to begin searching elsewhere. His search eventually led him into the living room and kitchen once more where he began checking all the cabinets inside the kitchen for some sort of clue or something out of the ordinary but there was nothing present no matter how hard he looked.

'Is there really nothing at all?' Jonathan thought to himself in exhaustion. He had been looking for something since he had arrived at the games but none of his efforts head bore any fruits and it was causing a heavy amount of exhaustion in his mind.

However, he decided not to give up and persist since there was only one last place to check and that was the living room.

Jonathan did a quick glance around the room checking to see if he saw anything in particular right off the bat but there was nothing he could see. He then got on his knees and looked under the couch but there was also nothing there leaving him at a loss as to what to do next. To gather his thoughts he walked over to the couch and sat on the left of Angela who was eating with Sam.

Sam and Angela both saw the exhaustion and frustration written on Jonathan's face which made both of them reach into their pile of snacks and each offer one toward Jonathan, "A snack is the best way to make the body happy." Angela said offering a bag of chips while Sam nodded his head in agreement while offering a chocolate bar.

Jonathan smiled in appreciation before taking both snacks in his hand, "Thank you." He said before he began snacking as well. While Jonathan was eating he looked toward the wrapper of the chips in his hand wondering what kind of tasty flavor he was eating when he caught sight of something stuck under the pile of Angela's snacks.

'What is that?' Jonathan wondered in confusion as he reach his hand out grasping the edge of what seemed to be a piece of paper. When Jonathan realized that this paper wasn't a part of any wrapper or outside plastic of the snacks his heart rate began to quicken as he pulled out the piece of paper from under the mountain of snacks.

Angela and Sam were both watching this in confusion wondering what he was doing but when they saw him pull out a piece of paper they were surprised as well, "What's that?" Angela questioned as she saw Jonathan pull out the paper.

"I'm not certain yet but I think it may be a clue or hint on the next game." Jonathan said making both Sam and Angela make surprised faces. Derek who had gone back into the kitchen after checking out his room also heard this and walked over to the three peeking over their shoulders to look at the paper as well.

"What does it say on it?" Sam spoke for the first time since entering the cabin with a genuine curiosity plastered on his face that was tripled by those around him including Jonathan who was curious about the contents of the paper.

The side that Jonathan had pulled out was completely blank but when he flipped it over he saw that there was something finally printed on the page. On the page there was a depiction of a long street that went in a somewhat straight line. On this street there were small little drawings of people running down this street while at the beginning of the street there were drawings of larger masses that seemed to be chasing the people.

"It looks like some sort of race or maybe a chase." Jonathan said giving the paper to the other three to see if they had similar opinions.

It took a few moments for each of them to form their opinion on the paper but after everyone looked at it they all had similar thoughts.

"What are the things chasing those people?" Derek asked in confusion as he turned the paper sideways, upside-down, and many other configurations to try and make sense of the large masses present at the beginning of the game.

"Maybe some sort of animal?" Jonathan suggested thinking that no human that he had ever seen would be in a form similar to the one shown on the paper. The only logical guess he could make was that there was a larger animal being used to chase down everyone.

"I guess we won't know until we get there." Sam said speaking once more.

Jonathan nodded in agreement after taking the paper from Derek and giving the masses a second glance. There was nothing on the sheet that indicated what kind of animal or being might be chasing them and there were no hints that he had seen anywhere else so Jonathan assumed that it was left to be found out when the game began.

Right as Jonathan was going to begin talking once more there was a sudden sound throughout the entire resting room. It sounded similar to a large electrical grid being shut down suddenly. As this sound happened all light outside of the cabin went off, completely enshrouding the area around them in total darkness.

"What's happening?!" Jonathan said in confusion.
