Destruction

"I'm leaving"

His roommates didn't think much of his words and what Owen said proved their thoughts. "You're always leaving, it's not a big deal"

"I'm not coming back" Pel clarified with a serious expression.

Owen stood up and started with a raised eyebrow. "You're going away?... Why?"

"I don't really have time to explain things" Pel then turned to Gerald. "You must have gone through a bit of trouble from others...I just forgot to compensate" he then asked Ito for one of the customized rings he had made.

A blue ring appeared on his palm and he gave it to Gerald who smiled. "You knew..."

"All in a guesswork and besides, you're the only one who still keeps his clothes in the cupboard" Pel shrugged.

Gerald laughed. At that time when Pel gave them the spatial rings, his was taken away in a series of complicated threats.

"Thank you"

Pel nodded and then left taking Crista along and on the way they bumped into Adam.

To be honest, Pel did not have time to exchange pleasantries and besides, Adam's attitude was anything but nice lately.

"Ito hack into the watch and contact Tulip"

[Affirmative]

"Pel are you..."

"Ask questions later...please"

Crista then shut her mouth and they continued walking.

Meanwhile, the principal had already realized what sort of storm he had set off but he has been on the receiving end of a lot of things from the Telons and he just could not contain his anger.

That wouldn't justify anything though. If he allowed Pel to leave today then...the consequences were too much to bear so he left from his office hoping he could still salvage things.

* * *

Tulip was not assigned any missions for the time being and was chilling off at home when her phone rang. "Pel...what had happened now?"

With a sigh, she picked up the phone. "Hello Pel"

"Keep the call going, I'll be there in a while," Pel said over the phone and stopped speaking.

"What the heck?" Tulip exclaimed before putting the phone down. She honestly did not want to be dragged into another mess.

Pel wasn't acting like this due to childishness. Kerkiare thought to respect from childhood but that did not mean anyone could trample on their pride...many wouldn't dare unless you want your entire planet on a black list because of you.

Pel had dealt with clients having different attitudes but his behavior depended on their racial standing in the universal log. Not to mention being from the human race, the principal was not even a client...he wouldn't bring himself down after all, he had received offers from all twelve Academies.

He could directly teleport to Tulip's location once Ito got the coordinates but he wanted to walk out of the Academy gate...for the sake of his own pride. Pel was angry.

Normally the gate was still open at this time but on reaching the gate, it was closed shut and the principal as well as Instructor Clinton and some other instructors were there for some reason.

Pel treated them as air and got closer. "Open the gate"

The principal suddenly ordering the close of the Academy gate was enough to make the students curious and those who were nearby waited to know what the reason was.

With Pel suddenly came up and going against the principal by asking them to open the gates, a commotion broke out among the students.

"Pel stop this and come with us" Instructor Clinton said with a grim expression. Creating a scene here wouldn't be good at all.

"You might as well open the gates" Pel said calmly.

Tulip could hear what was going on through the phone and had already started moving. "Damn this boy is after my life..."

"Pel..." the principal spoke. "We're sorry...now let's go"

Pel stared at him with dead eyes. "It doesn't work that way and I can make this gate open but I'm not sure if you'll be able to close them again"

The principal frowned. If he was not going to comply while they were being nice then they might as well keep him under house arrest until he came to his senses. He turned to one of the instructors who nodded and let his gaze land on Pel.

From where he stood Pel felt his shield vibrating and his eyes narrowed on the instructor with glowing eyes. His gaze turned cold and let go of everything holding him back.

They had crossed his bottom line and if Krent's shield got destroyed by them...he might raze this place to the ground without caring about friends or foes...so to prevent that he had to eliminate those he considered enemies first.

"Ito...Doomdrop"

A star-shaped metal appeared on his palm. He looked up and calculated that the principal and the instructors were standing at least 8 meters away from the gate then he sent his thoughts to the star.

It looked like time had slowed and the star-shaped metal slowly floated to the gate before sticking itself to it like a magnet.

"Detonate"

At the instant the words left his lips there was an explosion but as if the area of effect was being covered by a barrier, the aftereffects never reached Pel or the students behind who still had their eyes wide open in shock.

Even Crista felt her heart pounding inside her chest when she saw the explosion. Before the could regain her sense, she felt someone hold her hand and dragged her along.

Meanwhile, outside the destroyed gate, a lone figure stood wearing a terrible expression on her face. Seeing Pel and Crista walk out, her expression turned even uglier.

"What the f*ck is wrong with you? What part of being normal do you not freaking understand?" Tulip was livid...this kind of situation was worse than bad.

She walked in and saw the scorched bodied. Only a few had their parts complete...and she guess it was because they used this life-saving tool if not they would have turned out like those that have just become a pile of flesh and gut.

There was no covering this, it was too huge to sweep under the carpet and way too many witnesses who still had most shivering in fear.

She closed her eyes to think of a solution but Pel's words and attitude made her almost blow up.

"Why are you here?"
