After what happened with Thea and Marc, they decided to return to the apartment instead of hiding elsewhere. They don't think there's still an immoral guy capable of sneaking into a heavily guarded environment. They thought the danger would continue to come even if they hid in an ant hole, but staying where they should be was the best option.

Thea and Marc sit together, face to face, at the table. None of them made a sound. They were busy enjoying the food and drink brought from the trip.

A few times, Thea glanced at the beige tote bag she accidentally placed on one of the chairs. Thea tries to remember something without moving to retrieve and go through the bag for herself until Marc says something.

Thea hurried to change her seat; she carried her tote bag as she pulled out a rectangular, black box.

"Here's for you," Thea said, shifting the box in front of Marc.
