Rowan had been putting it off for a number of reasons he was also privy to the fact that the system had gone through an update among other things but mainly because the system was indeed a tool to help people quantify their capabilities and limits while keeping track of every aspect of themselves. The drops from other people were removed from the system, the mana from that part of it was diverted into quests and rewards, but what rewards could the system truly give him?
Rowans master had laid out a cultivation path for him to follow all the way to Rank 10 but also at the same time he could choose to modify as he saw fit, process he was currently contemplating in the hopes of surpassing his master, but there was a very important matter that he had come to know of. The system made it so that as much as it helped people here, the knowledge it gifted and everything else, for that matter, came at an unseen price. It meant that you were giving part of your experiences to his master.
His master grew only more powerful the more people evolved under the use of the system. If they innovate a new technique and it was registered with the system, then that information that is useful to him can then be put into practice almost immediately. Rowan had seen that firsthand when his master used the armament spell but when he used it, it was equal to the way Rowan had used it, but his master had said it then. The next time they met, he would have turned it into something shocking. Rowan knew that if he wanted to hope to surpass his master, then he had to do it without the aid of the system.
Rowan was unaware that the information that his master had shared with him was in fact top secret information that not even his wives knew but he had told Rowan during a private session but he never swore him to secrecy or anything like that he instead just gave him the info in passing in an effort of telling Rowan just how hard it would be to surpass him. It was the ceiling that Rowan chased. He had to grow beyond the bounds of the system before eventually shedding it completely. He suspected a feat he would not be able to accomplish until he was rank ten.
Rowan sighed to himself and let it all go as he floated down with Genma and he decided that those were issues for a later time, for now he may as well look at his status screen so that he could further improve himself while he still had the system at his beck and call.

2.0 has fused both agility and strength into the body stat, which represents the overall strength of the body, how that is used is based on the user.
Rowan looked at his own stats and understood Genma's question from earlier; he highly doubted that there was single level 50 being had stats like his but even more so, the massive reserve of skill points existed as well, but Rowan already knew what he was saving those for. He was saving those for his breakthroughs in cultivation. The skill points were like lumps of mana waiting to be used. He could put them in the body stat and enhance his already ridiculous physique even further or he could put it into his mind stat and expand his mana core. He was firmly a monster in every shape or form and he was quickly growing stronger; it took his master about twenty years to become a god, but that was in a world with mana density that wasn't even worth one percent of his current world compared to here. Rowan had firmly set a plan in his mind and looking at his stat page confirmed it. He would become a demigod within a year and step onto whatever stage his master was on and once he did, he would take another year to step into the Ranks of gods.
He landed on the ground next to Genma and Feng, while neither one of them could have truly fathomed what was in his mind right now. He was back to the present as he dismissed his status screen; he had the present to worry about, which meant, finding out where they were and what in the hell happened that led to them being surrounded by enemy forces, not to mention what in the hell were those massive insects that could use mana.
