Chapter 661: Sitting Outside

"Have you ever heard of 'appearance reflects the mind'? You clearly don't like me, yet you try to curry my favor, I've seen plenty of people like you."

A cold smile crept over Owen Hanson's face.

Perhaps it stung to have his feelings guessed by a child.

After saying this, Matthew Quach got up and moved to the back.

As Hannah returned the headphones to James Landon, she turned to see Matthew Quach standing beside her.

He did not speak. Hannah, propping up her head, gazed at him.

The gentle, fragmented orange light shone on his cheek, adding a warmth. The smile in his eyes was like light refracted on water.

The water was gently rippling, shimmering in the light.

Matthew Quach pursed his lips and held onto the back of the chair. Likely unsure of what to say, he stood erect like a small pine tree.

He seemed a bit precocious.

Hannah smirked, "Little friend, do you want to sit beside me?"

Matthew Quach lowered his head. After a long delay, he timidly responded, "Yeah."
