The village chief took the initiative to greet them, encasing his eyes in the cracks of his wide smile, "The houses have been prepared for you. If there's anything you need on regular days, feel free to come to me. In a few days, the market outside will be bustling. You're welcome to visit if you're interested."
George Quach handled the conversation. At this, he nodded and politely responded, "Thank you, village chief."
Touching his beard, the village chief replied, "Just call me Old Wilson."
Then he pulled a young man standing next to him to the front, introducing him proactively, "This is my nephew, Benjamin Wilson. If there's anything you'll need, he can also help."
Old Wilson patted Benjamin on the back. Quickly stepping forwards, Benjamin raised his eyes to find Hannah next to George. Dazzled by her beauty, he staggered and almost fell down.
Luckily, he steadied himself in time.
