Prologue

"Ack. Who could have thought that I'd be severely wounded in this war." A man with an excessive beard, messy hair, and wearing shining gold armor thought to himself as his left arm was cut off. The guy in front of him almost had the same state as he was. He can't help but laugh at the inevitable result of the war.

"With both of us unable to use one arm, I'm sure you know where this battle will be headed, Vandyr, Hero of the Awohi Country," the guy opposite said earlier.

"I don't need such assurance to do what I must," Vandyr said. "Graxia, monster of the Yasashii Forest," he added. It wasn't that long when the two dropped their sword and started chanting magic.

"O divine Blau, lend me the magic that exceeds it's another kind, calling forth, Blau Light Concentration!" Vandyr casted.

"I ask for your strength, divine Kokkino, the powerful light of its kind, Kokkino Concentration of Light!"

The two exchanged chants. The sky was then covered by a dark cloud that the aura coming from the two was the only thing that could be seen. Their people, who have been fighting for hours, had their attention to their exchange of spells.

In an instant, a blue laser-looking light appeared on Vandyr's hands. It would seem that he had won, but suddenly, the same thing appeared to his opponent except it was bathed with the color red. As a result, their powers collided which caused disturbance to their meeting point.

Seconds passed and the laser-looking magic exploded in too much power collision. The two were thrown on to the other end and landed on their backs.

Vandyr stood up quickly and ran to Graxia. Even with his left arm lost, he managed to land on top of his enemy and started hitting him with his right fist. From afar, they looked like children fighting over something light, but their country's the ones at stake here.

Graxia managed to fight back and threw some punches to Vandyr. Their distance then increased as both of them realized that they could go for another round. It was, at least, what they expected.

As the chaos around the two increased, there was no way they had seen something unexpected to come. It all happened in a flash when a Yexar appeared. This Yexar is a horse-looking monster with it's skin the same as a rock; It was used as a vehicle in this world. Graxia saw this as it was behind Vandyr, and so he ran to him full speed to at least both of them dodge the monster. But everything was too late, causing them to be hit mercilessly by a Yexar.

Vandyr and Graxia both lay on the ground, near each other. The two heroes of their respective land have now fallen. Vandyr slowly looked at his left, where Graxia was. He was surprised to see that his opponent had his eyes on him too. They were both looking at each other, with blood coming out their mouths. There was a smirk on Vandyr's face. It took some time but Graxia had one on his face too. In a moment, all of their sufferings had come to an end. Realizing this, Vandyr closes his eyes and hopes to see the god who he worships.

Darkness was all that Vandyr could see. The pain coming from the fight and the crash of the Yexal slowly disappeared. There was nothing to do now; at least that was what he thought.

The darkness was slowly occupied by light. It started from a small dot, but now, it completely painted the darkness. Vandyr saw a glimpse of a person from afar. There was an aura on him, emitting a blue light and a strange noise coming from the whole place. He ran towards it. Ran, ran, ran, ran was all he did. He then ran for another set. He ran, ran, ran, ran hoping to meet this person. There are questions he wanted to be answered but all he did was run.

The gap slowly tightened. The running is now a success. There was happiness crawling inside of Vandyr. But then it was crushed when the person moved. It waved his hand saying "goodbye". And at that moment, Vandyr fell down to a dark hole. "This is terrifying... And annoying" He thought.

Suddenly, the endless fall came to a stop. The same thing happened. Light made its way from the darkness. Vandyr heard strange sounds again. The light then started to form an image. There's a face in front of him. Worse, it was a giant's one. Vandyr can't help but to back off and scream. For the former, it failed."My strength and energy was exhausted from the war." he thought to himself, with an irritated look on his face. But for the latter, it went perfect; except a highly pitched voice came out. "Weird..." he told himself.

"He'd die for sure this time." is what you might be thinking. But, the giants wearing a blue robe seemed to pass Vandyr. There was another giant that carried him. The giant is a woman who seemed exhausted from doing something. Ease had come into Vandyr's mind. It wasn't that long when his eyes rested and slept.
