Episode 8: Unexpected Date 1

"I've been coming to your house more lately," she said while the two of us were walking home. "Don't you think it's time you should come to my place then?"

I choked on my own saliva. I looked at her and she seemed serious about it. It was then when we reached the intersection where we went our separate ways.

"You're in or what?"

"Yeah, I'm in."

It took a minute of walking to reach the apartment she lived in. The surroundings are filled with light yellow paint. A little bit more tough coloring and this place is the backrooms.

We walked upstairs until reaching the second floor. And right over the second room on the left, we reached her place. Upon opening, I was surprised by a woman wearing an off shoulder shirt and a long skirt. A complete opposite of the person beside me who's wearing a school uniform with jogging pants underneath.

"You're home." The woman turned her head to us. "And, oh."

"Yes, sis."

"Well, feel yourselves at home."

"By the way sis, what's up with the clothes? Are you going out somewhere?"

"Oh this? Hm... Yeah, I think I am." The woman started wandering in her thoughts. "I'm forgetting something."

"Make sure to remember it, sis."

"Yup, I will." She smiled gracefully and cutely.

I dropped my shoes right next to the entrance door. She then grabbed my hand to lead me to her room. I was presented with different posters of video games and anime.

"You haven't watched 'His Bizarre Adventure', right?" She said while removing her uniform, revealing a dark green camisole.

"Oh, that fighting anime."

"Heh." She smirked. It was then when she pulled out CD's in her cabinet. Meanwhile, I sat down on the floor and rested my back on the bed. "Well, we're now going to binge watch the show!"

After turning on the television and inserting the CD as swiftly as she can, she turned around and looked at me.

"Could you hug me from the back while watching..." I looked at her again if she's serious. And the answer is yes.

"What's up with you sudde-"

"It's rare for us to have a break in practice you know!" She tilted her head sideways and looked away from me. I must have said it in the wrong way. Ah...

"Go ahead, then." I raised my arms ready to hug her. She had a spark on her eyes. She smiled and walked towards me. She sat down on my lap with her back facing me. I then reached out for my other arm and locked her in.

"You're warm," She said.

"It's because you asked for it suddenly; I tensed up."

"Jeez, just focus on the show. I'm telling you, it's dope."

Suddenly, the door of the room opened, revealing her sister. I instinctively put down my arms and tried to move away, to no avail.

"I remember it now! He's coming over!" she said.
