In no way Yun Meiyi would have moved on so easily.

The store was getting affected, so the cashier at the counter didn't want it to drag on long. Hence finding the chance he put an end to it. "But the payment has already been made. She had afforded all that she selected." Saying that he smiled politely to Yun Meiyi before extending the bill. 

Yun Meiyi frowned. The bill was paid but she was yet to hand over her card. What was happening? She was about to take the bill when Yun Jiaqi snatched it from the hands of the cashier. 

"How can that be possible?" She scoffed in disbelief before checking the figures on the bill. The amount paid was not less. "This is not possible. Meiyi, how did you do that? Where did you get the money? Your poor job can't make you afford such high-end brands." 

Yun Meiyi was in no mood to argue with her. The confusion over the bill was more pressing. Hence, she turned to ask the cashier instead. "Who paid for it?" 

"Ma'am, all your shopping value was on the house."
