Bunch of Snakes

In the woods northwest of New York City, Aurora and Amia walked towards where Medusa and her servants were spotted.

'Use your psychic abilities to scan for any mana signatures. It should have a greater range than my senses,' said Aurora.

Amia nodded and sent out her psychic wave, scanning 500 miles in every direction. Fifty snakes appeared, which increased to 160 as the psychic wave moved further, until it stopped at the 500 mile mark.

As Amia's eyes were closed to give her a visual view, she said, 'There are 20 servant snakes 20 meters ahead of us. They should be the scouts.'

'Thanks.' Aurora conjured two heavy swords that had a pink demonic aura about them and stepped forward.

Aurora appeared next to a snake and slashed the heavy sword, severing one of the snakes that had dark green scales covering the entirety of their body, along with a whitish-green underbelly and golden spll eyes. She slashed the heavy sword, severing one of the snake servants into four pieces, followed by the next five snake servants.

*HSSSS!!!

Glaring at Aurora, the other 15 Snake Servants took on a humanoid form. Their lower half remained the same, but as for their upper half, it was that of a human with light green skin the color of jade, moderately sized breasts covered with dark green scales, dark green hair, pointed ears, and golden slitted eyes.

"Kill her for killing our empress's servants." Aurora was holding wooden bows and arrows that were aimed at Aurora, releasing 45 arrows towards her all at once.

The arrow cut through the wind with ease, as the arrows were less than a foot away from her. Aurora, feeling a sense of danger from the wooden arrows, deflected all of them, sending them into the tree trunks behind her.

*CRRR!

Aurora looked down at both of her demonic heavy swords, seeing that where the arrows hit was turned to stone, prompting her to glance back, seeing that a half inch around the arrow was all turned to stone.

Everything that turned to stone crumbled to dust as the trees that lost their support fell to the ground, kicking some dirt into the air.

'Those arrows are dangerous. But I'm assuming they can't petrify by just looking at their target, which means they need physical contact or, like they just did, using arrows as a medium for the same effect.' Aurora thought, conjuring another two heavy swords, as the previous ones were turned to dust.

The snake servants loaded their bows again and aimed at Aurora just like before, pulling the string back, but before they could fire, a voice so divine and beautiful was heard from their target, saying one word, "Shatter."

Within a 100 meter, everything was shattered to pieces, besides the snake servants, as they had some resistance to this power with them below Aurora's level, but were still killed in the end as half of their bodies were shattered to pieces.

Looking at the aftermath of her skill, Aurora thought, 'The skill is very powerful, but that is only of the one I'm using it on is below my level; otherwise it is useless.'

"Thanks for leaving some alive"—Amia landed next to Aurora, smiling—"but I'd wish that you hadn't started without me."

Aurora pulled Amia into her embrace, kissed her, and pulled her mouth back, saying, "They attacked first, and I'll leave servants for you while I deal with Medusa."

"Thanks."

Aurora teleported away, leaving Amia alone with the ten snake servants that were unaffected by Aurora's holy voice.

Within a palace constructed of vines, trees, and stone, there was a large hall with a stone throne, where a woman sat who had the same characteristics as the snake servants, but she also had scales along her forehead, her hair was thousands of small snakes, and lastly, her finger nails were golden.

Seeing a beautiful woman appear in front of her who was the cause of hundreds of her servants, she immediately turned her to stone, turning her to dust.

After her enemy turned to dust, another one of her appeared, striking confusion in her, but she didn't consider this woman as strong, so she once again turned her to dust.

As before, her enemy appeared again, but this time there were ten of them, so she turned them to dust, and brought her senses to the max, but all she could sense were 15 clones of her enemy in front of her, all radiating signs of life as if they were the real ones.

'Since she isn't showing herself and making clones, she must be scared, so I'll waste her mana by turning those clones to dust. Once I'm done with that, I'll find her and kill her.' Medusa thought, giving a sadistic grin.
