Gasps of panic instantly filled the lobby. Fu Tinghao immediately reacted. He grabbed her wrist which was still shaking due to the fact that she wasn't skilled at wielding knives and flipped her. He lifted his other hand and slapped the knife away from her hand.

The knife fell and slid to a far end of the lobby. Then, he pulled her by the arm and forcefully made her sit on the floor. She was still struggling though and wanted to turn over to face him. But, he was able to keep a hold on her.

From the corner of his eyes, he saw two familiar figures retreating back into the background. He retracted his gaze and looked at the knife that had been picked up before sighing in relief.

Then, he turned his attention back to Tang Wan. She wasn't struggling anymore and was only staring into the distance. Just when Fu Tinghao thought she wasn't going to talk anymore, she suddenly said gently, "Give me my parents."

She repeated, "Give me my parents. Don't take them away."

Then, she choked. And before Fu Tinghao knew it, tears were flowing down her cheeks. She was crying and he also seemed to hear her continue to say, "Daddy, don't go. Please… Wanwan will become more obedient, okay? Mommy, I promise to listen to you. Don't go, okay?"

The man couldn't help but furrow his brows when he heard her. His chest tightened and he felt stuffed. He didn't expect that her parents' death had that much impact on her. After all, she never mentioned it.

She seemed to be tired also. For, she leaned back weakly and he hurriedly caught her in his arms. He looked at her pale face riddled with tears for a moment before carrying her up. He swooped her in his arms and returned to the ward.

When he entered, he saw that the room was now neatly arranged and the bed was clean and tidy. He was immediately taken aback but he soon figured out who did it. So, he placed her gently on the bed.

Immediately, Tang Wan cowered and pulled her legs closer defensively. He didn't stop her and noticed that she still hadn't come to her senses. She was still mumbling incoherently.

He pulled the blanket and covered her with it before ringing the nurse station. Soon, a middle aged woman appeared at the door. She walked in, taking a brief look at Tang Wan before saying, "Director."

"Head Nurse Yun," Fu Tinghao greeted back and turned to her. He looked at his wristwatch. It was past 12. "Get me 900mg of lithium, 10mg of olanzapine and 3mg of risperidone."

Head Nurse Yun immediately looked at him in surprise. "Sir, it's time for her medication to begin?"

"Yeah."

The nurse nodded in understanding and left. After the door closed behind her, Fu Tinghao looked at the young woman lying on the bed. She had already shut her eyes and didn't even seem to notice them.

Fu Tinghao sighed. If he were to choose, he naturally wouldn't want her to use drugs. He wanted her to take therapeutic treatment.

He dug into his pockets and retrieved his cell phone before depressing his assistant's number. Immediately, he heard him answer, "Boss?"

"Li Jin, place a call to Yao Yunjie and tell him to send a premium meal as soon as possible. Something simple and easily digestible. Tell him I said if the food doesn't arrive here in the next thirty minutes, he better pack up his things and return to the capital."

Li Jin immediately gave a reply that showed he understood and the call was disconnected.

If Tang Wan was actually sane at that moment, she would surely be surprised because Yao Yunjie was in charge of Orchard Restaurant.

The door soon opened again and Head Nurse Yun entered the ward again. In her hands was a stainless tray. A glass of clear water was placed on it and beside it were several packets of drugs.

She handed it over to Fu Tinghao. "Director, I've brought them."

Fu Tinghao collected the tray and when his hand touched the tray, he paused. He remembered the way Tang Wan held the knife earlier and said to Nurse Sun, "Tell the Welfare team leader that I said he should change everything in this room to plastic. From now on, don't bring any sharp substances in here. If it's very important, use it and take it away immediately."

"I understand." Today's event needed no telling for her to know that.

"Also, help me calm the woman who was attacked."

"Yes, director." Then, she left.

Fu Tinghao immediately placed the tray on the bedside table and waited for the food to arrive. Li Jin brought it inside the ward himself.

Fu Tinghao opened the takeout box and saw that it was simple porridge with side dishes. He knew it must have been added impromptu; it wasn't on the menu. He looked at Tang Wan and saw that she was looking at them silently.

This time, he noticed there was something amiss. Her eyes were clear and she was no longer speaking very fast. It seemed she was recovering her sanity.

At least, Fu Tinghao was thankful her mania wasn't that extreme.

He helped her sit up and placed the food in front of her. "Eat."

Tang Wan ate but very slowly and it was only after about twenty minutes later, did she finish eating. After she finished eating, Li Jin cleared the takeout box while she drank water.

Fu Tinghao peeled the wrappings of the drugs. They were all tablets. He placed them all in her palm and handed her the glass of water. "Take them with water. Slowly so you don't choke. Don't chew."

Tang Wan did as he said and took the drugs. When he saw how quiet and obedient she was, Fu Tinghao sighed inwardly. Most manic patients were highly energetic and impulsive; she was the quietest one he had ever seen. He had also expected her to have trouble sleeping but she didn't. He suspected it was due to the serene environment that she didn't develop insomnia.

She soon slept off and Fu Tinghao left, not wanting to disturb her sleep.

He also needed to pay a visit to the woman who had been taken hostage earlier.
