Crown Prince's Knight Is A Girl?!

"We should wait till we reach the palace. Come, it is not safe to be out in the woods at night." he extended his hands but she did not hold it like always.

"Now that it reminded me, you did try to persuade me a few times to give up on war. And here I thought that you were worried about the lives of innocents. I have gone so far to collect more supporters. But who would have thought! Alex, even if I have to give up on you, I will not give up on war." she reminded him coldly.

Her whole body was trembling with anger. No matter what she said or did, she was not able to get rid of the image of them hugging each other.

"This is the grave of my mother. I do not want to create a scene here, not today at least. Come with me, we will discuss everything in the palace." he took a deep breath and asked again.

It was evident from his face that he was trying to suppress his anger but she still took a step back.
