Alex paused. A layer of ice covering his soulful eyes when he looked back at Tyrone. Tyrone gulped, a hint of regret on his face as he cursed himself.

But collecting his courage, he looked back at the man.

"She is my sister in law. It is my duty to ask about your actions as I am concerned about her." never in his life had Tavern thought that he was going to call oli sister in law, brother, was more acceptable in his heart.

"Tsk! Drop the act. I will be back soon." Although Alex mocked him, he could see Alex's eyes softening and a small smirk appearing on his cold face.

He walked towards the table and collected the dagger from there before leaving from the window instead of the door.

Tavern sighed and shook his head. He would pray for the receiver of the gift.
