CHAPTER 28: THE ARRANGED ROUTES

After Agi healed Rafiz again, Leo and Perseus went near Kairi.

"You have proven to us and so, we welcome you home, Queen Siarah's heir," Leo bowed respectively to Kairi as he went down to one knee.

Perseus and others follow after his action.

Together, they shout, "Welcome home, Your Majesty!"

Kairi was stunned. He was so overwhelmed by their acknowledgement. Suddenly, a soft blowing wind gathers and surrounds him. Kairi felt the magical call from the palace and looked there.

Someone whispered in his ears and to him alone.

"My heir... Welcome home..."

Shocked by the voice, Kairi realised it belonged to a woman. Her soft tone indicates that she has been waiting for him. A few tears suddenly fell to his cheeks.

"Kairi?" Rafiz and everyone were bewildered.

Kairi wipes his tears but it still comes out on its own. He can feel it, the power inside him was crying of sadness and happiness combined.

Kairi closed his eyes.

We are home...

After a few moments, he was back to normal. Immediately, Leo ordered the celebration of the heir returning. Although it has been prepared, there was a lot to check so that the celebration moves accordingly.

Therefore, a week of celebration was carried out. Antonia residents and their neighbours were so happy to finally see their new future king. With this, after 500 years, Syarantonia Kingdom finally had a king.

.....................................

The sky was moving. No, it was the clouds. Various magnificent palaces and buildings were seen on top of it.

A winged shiny creature looks like a mythical wolf full of whitish fur, resting on a small fluffy cloud. Its golden eyes gazed at something far.

"When are we going down there?"

Another same wolf of midnight fur suddenly appeared. Raven's wings widened before it rested behind its back. It licked its dishevelled fur and decided to lay beside the white wolf.

Both have beautifully carved symbols on their wings, forehead and body. Dark aquamarine shiny bangles covered their four legs like an accessory.

But the white wolf has a golden earring on its left ear and a small same colour ring on its tail. As for the other, the black wolf has a piece of gold jewellery on its forehead.

"Kironinx, I haven't seen you in a long time and that's the first question you ask? I heard you have a mission and went to Alothia Planet. You said you would be there for another month." The white wolf inquired.

"Have you forgotten there's a time difference in every universe? There, has already been a month. And you haven't answered my question, Ziphoteninx."

"Since you are home, yes. We can return to them. They have already been reborn. The kings have allowed us to help them." Ziphoteninx gets up on four legs and stretches his body.

"Thank goodness! Finally! For five hundred years we have waited for them to be born." Kironinx grinned happily.

Ziphoteninx nodded. "This time, they were born in a different place and have a predestined character. We need to make sure they don't die before Revioryx kills them."

"Darn it! The Hell guards are useless! They should have been watching Revioryx. See what happened when they neglected to check on the cell that bound Revioryx. He escaped and brought disaster to the mortal world!"

"True... That's why Shiroi and Kiroki were sent there. To end the darkness that Revioryx has brought. We can't allow Revioryx to escape this time."

"Heh! Come on, Ziphoteninx. Let's go down to Earth now instead of waiting until tomorrow."

Kironinx was impatient. He wanted to meet Shiroi and Kiroki again.

Ziphoteninx looked up at the sky above them. "Not yet, Kironinx. Tomorrow is the right time."

Kironinx said nothing more. He knew Ziphoteninx's prediction was one of the best among other holy beings.

Apparently, Ziphoteninx can sense something was going to happen somewhere. Because of that, they wait until tomorrow to head to Earth.

Their wings traverse the sky calmly and slowly they descend almost to the surface but didn't touch it. Below them, many humans were seen. Some were dead while some were battling the enemies. Screaming can be heard everywhere while the flame burns everything in the village in front of them.

"Over there."

Ziphoteninx ignored the people below and flies a little far. Kironinx follows behind.

"Hey, it's that...?" Kironinx looked down.

They weren't surprised to see one of them was a Deorc Star user. The Deorc Star was known throughout Heaven as underlings of Revioryx.

Kironinx had pointed to a person, a teenage boy who was fighting with a muscular Deorc Star.

"Yes. That's him. There's another one nearby," Ziphoteninx told him, looking at a man who was standing on a tree, watching the match with indifference.

Everyone there couldn't see Ziphoteninx and Kironinx that were flying over them due to the power they hold. They're invisible.

"Oh, it seems he finally realized the death of his kins," Kironinx stated.

He watched the teenage boy run away from the Deorc Star user. The latter was going to stop him.

Ziphoteninx's eyes glowed as he stared at the member of the Deorc Star. That person suddenly sat down without a will to chase the boy anymore.

"Let's go. Follow them."

The man who they saw was hiding in the tree had followed the boy. He didn't realise his companion had been controlled by Ziphoteninx.

"Hey, why is he also a member of the Deorc Star?" Kironinx asked.

"These are fate. That's why we are here, to change it."

"Won't it become worse?" Kironinx was stunned.

"The future must be changed. This is the destiny that I foresaw. So, don't worry."

"Ah... Should have said so..."

Somewhere in the forest, the boy had laid down on the ground, crying silently. Before he fell unconscious, the man had gotten close to him, ready to kill.

"Oh, no, you don't!" Kironinx's gold eyes glowed brightly.

He entered the man's head and found something that could change his killing intent. Upon finding it, he pulled those memories to the man's attention until he stopped his blades from slashing the boy.

Soon, they saw the man withdraw his blades and lift the teenager's body, before taking him away from there.

"Our job is done but we had to keep our eyes on them. I don't want anything to happen until they can beat Revioryx." Ziphoteninx flapped his wings and flew away.

Kironinx follows him and they return to their abode which was far from the surface of the Earth. It was called... Heaven.

A few years later...

"It's time..."

Kironinx was sitting next to the man who couldn't see him. He was the one who took the teenager away.

Ziphoteninx, on the other hand, was looking at the boy that was saved. He lifted his front leg to touch the boy's arm but stopped himself.

"This is not the time to show myself..." He thought in silence.

"Time to head back, Kairi. The old man will bark at us again."

The man told the boy while gazing somewhere. Eyes narrowing, he felt the trouble that occurred.

"Gimme a moment, Rafiz."

Kairi dipped both his hands into the stream.

Ziphoteninx's eyes glowed and moved something in the stream. Soon, he saw Kairi withdraw his hand from it and a chain belonging to the Bright Star user was seen on his fingers.

"The turn of changes has finally fulfilled its time..." Kironinx looked at Ziphoteninx.

Ziphoteninx nodded and watched Kairi leave with Rafiz. They flew again. A few months later, they saw Kairi revive Pegasus, and also fight with the Dark Ries, the ones that annihilate the Knight Seeyer village.

The battle was helped by Kironinx by bringing out the old language that was hidden deep inside Kairi. The old language was hard for Kairi to reach and with Kironinx's help, Kairi was able to use his power.

"Des Sa Olo Nas Ki Ei ... Fa Likes Aito Olo Elne Mos Ei! (Oh star who is my slave ... Destroy all the obstacles that darken my path!)"

Kairi chanted and managed to kill Dark Ries.

"I wish that he is happy instead of sad... Kairi is too kind for other people and his enemies."

Ziphoteninx mentioned it because after Kairi realised he defeated Dark Ries, he blamed himself while crying.

"He has to endure and become stronger. This is for the future..." Kironinx sighed.

They can't blame Kairi for being soft. Such a personality probably has followed him since before his birth.

"I'll be waiting for you at Ryam, Ziphoteninx. I can't leave Rafiz for long. I don't know what he'll do after Kairi isn't by his side. He's too careless."

Rafiz, who was cutting meat in Ryam Town, sneezed.

"Who missed me? Could it be Kairi?" His eyes lit up.

Huh?

Then he realised that he had cut his finger a bit. The wound bleeds out. Immediately, he put the injured finger into his mouth.

"Ah, how careless of me..."

Back to the wolves...

"Take care," Ziphoteninx said.

Kironinx's body disappeared and Ziphoteninx went back to watch Kairi.

"I'm sorry, Kairi..." He apologises silently.

He had followed Kairi since Rafiz rescued him. It's not that long before Kairi and Rafiz reach Antonia. However, he and Kironinx had to split up again.

All because Kairi and Rafiz had been separated by illusion in Perseus test. What surprised Ziphoteninx was the arrival of Dark Kurumi.

"Strange... How can he be here?" Kironinx asked Ziphoteninx.

Ziphoteninx shook his head. Bright Star does lack powers because of their missing leader but he didn't know that they were this vulnerable.

They were relieved when Dark Kurumi didn't do anything to Kairi. But that confuses them more.

Aren't Kairi a threat to them? Why is Dark Kurumi just letting Kairi go? What is his motive for being here?

Due to that, they followed Dark Kurumi until he reached somewhere in the forest.

Dark Kurumi stopped and sighed annoyingly.

"Until when do you guys want to follow me, strange beasts...?"

Dark Kurumi turned sharply at them. Ziphoteninx and Kironinx were astonished. They looked at each other. There was no one nearby so that could only mean... Dark Kurumi knew they were following him.

"You can see us?" Kironinx was amazed.

This was the first human who could see them.

"You can talk too?" Dark Kurumi feels complicated.

There was a reaction of disbelief in his eyes before it returned to coldness.

"Yes. These eyes can."

Ziphoteninx remembered something from his words.

"Aah... So, that's it. The stellar power you have is different from others. I almost forgot it has the power to see any mysterious being."

His words caught Dark Kurumi's attention.

"Who are you?! How did you know that?!"

He summoned his weapon and was ready to kill the two wolves.

"Calm down, Dark Kurumi. Or rather, your true name... Draco of the Bright Star user."

Dark Kurumi frowned.

"Are you blind? My emblem doesn't look like I'm from their weak group."

He emphasizes the word weak to show how disgusting he was with the Bright Star.

Kironinx smiled, showing his sharp fangs.

"Yes, isn't that because your king changed it from the original to a dark one."

"What do you mean?"

"It's been five hundred years since your king arrived on earth. What do you call him now? Oh, yes. Dark Revier. He was the one who converted the original emblem of the Bright Star to the Deorc Star." Ziphoteninx explained a little about the Deorc Star King.

"Unfortunately, he couldn't snatch all the Bright Star users to his side. Your ancestor was one of the unlucky ones who got caught. Why do you think the number of Bright Stars has not been enough all this time?" Kironinx continued.

"You lied! Our ancestors who killed them and broke their emblem so that they would never rise again." Dark Kurumi didn't believe it.

He crossed his arms over his chest. His weapon was removed because he didn't want to waste his energy.

"If that's what you believe..."

Kironinx deliberately wanted Dark Kurumi to feel suspicious of Dark Revier. At the same time, he entered Dark Kurumi's head and watched his memories.

What he finds surprised him but this allows a chance to change Dark Kurumi or more accurately, Draco to the right path again.

"I'll tell you about Dark Revier. In a condition that you can't tell anyone about us or that you have met us."

Dark Kurumi went quiet. The best option for him was silence as this was the only thing that doesn't tell Ziphoteninx or Kironinx whether he agreed or not to the terms.

"Or I don't have to tell you anything and you can tell Dark Revier that we, Ziphoteninx and Kironinx are on Earth. You can tell him we'll find a way to confine him back."

Ziphoteninx laughed before flapping his wings to fly. He knew Dark Kurumi would reply with silence. Because of that, he also decided not to say anything.

"Damn it! Fine, I agree to your terms."

The moment he agreed, something was binding his head. This should be the warning and protection if Dark Revier or another Deorc Star user wanted to see his memories. Only, at this moment he doesn't feel it was so bad. Moreover, he felt the need to know everything that Dark Revier has concealed from everyone.

"Good choice."

Ziphoteninx and Kironinx landed a few meters away from him.

"Where do I start..."

Kironinx gathered information in his mind first before telling what he knew about Dark Revier. Ziphoteninx also included some details of it.

Throughout the story, Dark Kurumi's eyes widened.

How could such a mystical being be able to come to Earth?! If they said there were restrictions for a mystical being to come to this world, how can Dark Ries enter it? What did he sacrifice?

"It's hard for me to believe in all this..." Dark Kurumi shook his head which was a little aching.

He has seated on a rock while one hand massages his forehead.

"But you can also see us when no one can. Unless we allow them to see. And you think there are animals like us?" Kironinx laughed.

"Maybe..." Dark Kurumi rolled his eyes.

"Oh... Do you think you can beat us?" Ziphoteninx smiled and let out some of his aura.

Shortly, Dark Kurumi's body fell to the ground. A little saliva came out of his mouth and his face showed his pain that was affected by the aura.

He has never experienced such a powerful force other than Dark Revier when Dark Revier punishes someone. That power was not from this world and now he believed Ziphoteninx and Kironinx's stories.

"Looks like I've got your trust, Dark Kurumi. What are you going to do next? Are you still going to side with Dark Revier when your real group members are the Bright Star? Or do you want Dark Revier to destroy this world?" Ziphoteninx asked.

"I'm sure after he destroys all the Bright Star users, he will eliminate all the Deorc Stars next. You guys after all still carried the original Bright Star emblem and if this secret of ours was known to him, he would feel you and the Deorc Star pose a threat to him. Maybe, he would eliminate you all first before he came after Kairi and the others." Kironinx continued and deliberately said Kairi's name.

Hearing his little brother's name, Dark Kurumi slowly got up and stood up again. Although a little unstable, his expression has turned serious.

"What do I have to do?"

He wasn't angry with them but didn't want his little brother to be harmed by Dark Revier. The events of the past five years still haunt him after Dark Revier ordered all the residents of Knight Seeyer to be eliminated.

He thought Kairi also had been killed but through his Knight Seeyer sense, he can feel Kairi was still alive and to be sure, he shows up in Antonia where he knows Kairi was heading there. He was relieved to see Kairi was alright and also a little jealous of Rafiz who won Kairi's heart.

Ziphoteninx and Kironinx knew he loved Kairi from his memory. With this, Dark Kurumi would willingly agree to help them and become a spy for them on the Deorc Star.
