Chaos In branch office

The flight was eight hours long. Li Jie reached Country A at midnight. He didn't feel like resting the next morning. He directly went to the head office without notifying.

"Sir, who are you looking for? Do you have an appointment?" The receptionist asked politely.

Li Jie was taken aback by the question, he should have expected such a question but he didn't.

The silver-haired didn't answer for a moment but the receptionist was patient with a handsome face. This was the first time he was asked who he was in his family company so it took an effort to digest.

"My name is Li Jie, I wanted to meet Chairman Bai. Here is his card." Li Jie leaned to the counter giving her the card, he wasn't wearing a suit but a turtle neck black sweater and white jeans with a college bag on his shoulder.

The silver-haired wasn't deliberate in hiding his identity.

He happened to meet chairman Bai in a meeting last year and got his card. His card came in handy to find the address of the company. At least Chairman Bai was more useful than he initially calculated.

"Right now he seemed to be in a meeting. Could you wait in the lobby?"

"What is regional manager Kim doing right now?"

"Wait a moment."

The receptionist took a look at Li Jie before dialling the number of manager Kim's assistant but the other party told her off. "Mr Kim won't be meeting anyone without an appointment." Her completion was a little paler as she spoke trying not to look fine.

"Are you fine?" Li Jie asked her knowingly, she looked like a newly graduated person who didn't know the ropes in co-operate world. "Can I make a few phone calls?" Li Jie pointed to the phone.

The receptionist agreed with hesitation but Li Jie understood she was a person who couldn't say 'no' easily.

Li Jie grabbed his laptop from his bag. He opened a file of employee information which assistant Tang shared with him despite his denial.

"Hello, Chairman Bai I am Li Jie from the main branch...." He used their numbers to contact them, it wasn't polite of him but like he cared.

"Hello, regional manager Kim...."

"Hello, HR manager...."

"Hello, marketing manager...."

"Hello, Sales manager...."

"Hello, Design manager...."

The silver-haired finally put down the receiver with his last call only to find the horrified expression of the receptionist. He felt a little guilty in his heart.

"Who...?" The receptionist was about to ask Li Jie his identity but the elevator door opened.

*Click*

It was none other than high and mighty regional manager Kim. He looked panicked with his secretary following behind him. Despite his overweight, he was quick to come down and greet Li Jie.

The receptionist and the passerby employees didn't understand the situation but they were curious about Li Jie's identity.

"President Li...." Manager Kim was breathing heavily unable to talk. Li Jie asked for a bottle of water from the reception and handed the bottle to him.

"Pres-...." Manager Kim tried to open his mouth again but was stopped by the silver-haired. And was calmly told to wait for 5 minutes.

In those five minutes, the elevator door opened and closed several times. Some people even used stairs to come down. Li Jie looked at 8-9 people in front of him with a smile on his face. When he decided to visit the office today this wasn't what he wanted but the outcome wasn't that bad either.

"Hello everyone, you came down that means you already know me. From today on I will be working with you in the Country A branch. I hope you can get along with me." Li Jie spoke arrogantly. He had no plans to tone it down. The country A branch was suspected of corruption and these manger were the horsemen of it.

Li Jie went upstairs with them, news of his arrival shocked and surprised several employees. It was already notified someone was going to transfer from the main branch but they never expected it was the president himself. Surely it became a topic of discussion.

"Did you see president Li?

"He is young, isn't he?"

"And good-looking too. He does look similar to the Ceo."

It wasn't just about his appearance but also the waves his presence created.

"What about Chairman Bai?"

"What about him? The president must be here only for a few days or months."

"But isn't it considered demotion to get transferred to the branch office from the main office?"

"Well, he is the only heir of Li's family."

"Maybe he did something to anger the CEO?"

"No way."

Li Jie who had no idea or interest in this matter was busy understanding the situation his father suddenly put him in.

"Mr Kim please send me the files I want until tomorrow."

Li Jie sat in the guest chair in the regional manager Kim's office but the status quo in the room was established.

"But sir the transfer process..." The old man Kim was going to use the excuse of Li Jie's transfer process to delay the process but Li

"Regional manager Kim, I am still the president of the company. The transfer is just symbolic. If I want you to show me some files you should. If not, I might need to talk to the Ceo or the CFO about this. And-" Li Jie paused for a moment smiling a little rather than pleasant it made people shiver.

"I will make sure it will be a sight to see."

*Scary* that all Regional managers could think of. If he knew the president wasn't a naive brat but a sly fox he would have already taken care of everything in the office. But it was probably too late now.

The clock moved swiftly, the office hours even finished, and still, the silver-haired was busy reading the files. Regional manager Kim could only wait.

The silver-haired got up all of a sudden tidying his clothes and looking at the clock.

"Where did you say director Bai was again?" His light blue eyes glinted with evil intent. Either way, he wasn't much patient.

Regional manager Kim panicked, he didn't want to anger the president now that he got to know his temper. But he had to cover up for director Bai since he was his last hope with Li Jie checking every document and transaction there.

"That....sir." Seeing him pausing Li Jie felt disappointed. From being with him for so long today regional manager Kim should have known there was no end to this situation. But looked like he still felt director Bai could help him out.

"Oh!" It was the most sarcastic voice the regional manager had heard from the silver-haired until now. Shocking him a little inside. "See you tomorrow. Thank you for your work today."
