CHAPTER 13

Jackson did not give Anton time to complain. Instead, he orders him to find him a few pillows and a car seat for babies. Jackson also told Anton that he wants all the softest pillows available in the nearest shop. After that, Jackson gets Lulu from Anton's arms.

After his secretary leaves, Jackson walks toward the man who is asking him for a match. They cannot see it from afar, but this guy is filled with tattoos on his arms, neck, and the right side of his face. Lulu is scared to see that man and subconsciously buries her face in Jackson's neck.

"You're Jackson Lavine, right?" The man asked. "I'm Troy."

Troy raised his hand to offer a handshake but Jackson just stares at it. Why would he shake his hands anyway? So Jackson looks at Troy with his signature smile and shows the little girl in his arms.

"I cannot offer my hands right now. As you can see, my daughter is still in my arms."

Troy looks at the little bun snuggling in Jackson's arm. He didn't know this man is already a father. Then Troy raised a brow seeing that the little girl in his arms keeps on glancing in his direction. She probably finds him cool and just feeling shy to talk with him.

"What's your name, little girl?" Troy asked.

Lulu looks at Troy for a moment before she looks at Jackson with a pout.

"What?" Jackson asked when he noticed Lulu's expression.

"Daddy!" Luly calls him in a loud voice than makes Jackson frown.

"Stop shouting. I'm literally right in front of you."

But Lulu ignores his words. Instead, she points her chubby finger in Troy's direction and said her next words in a serious voice.

"Daddy, he drew a lot of wiggling worms on his body."

"...What?"

"He is even cooking the worms in his arms. Then there's a lot of shellfish on his neck too."

"..."

"...Pfft."

Troy was dumbfounded while Jackson is suppressing his laugh. But Lulu is not yet done. She twists her body in Jackson's arm and looks at Troy with a frown. She even crossed her chubby arms on her chest and pursed her lips.

"Uncle, why did you draw a lot of worms and shellfishes on your body? Did you use a huge marker? Did your mommy also grab a slipper to beat your butt too?"

Lulu really had the same experience with a marker pen in the past. At that time, Louisa was busy preparing her favorite pancakes in the kitchen when Lulu found a marker under their sofa. She quickly became curious about it and removed its cap. She first tried it on her hand and drew a small turtle on it.

Lulu thought it was more fun to draw on her skin instead of in her notebook. So the little girl did not stop and tried drawing and writing a lot of things on her thighs and legs like shapes, alphabets, fruits, and random scribbles. When Louisa found her, Lulu was already covered with black drawings on her skin. The little girl even tried to draw on her mommy's arm too with a smile on her face. But Lulu stopped her thoughts seeing her mommy getting a slipper to hit her little butt.

In the end, Louisa didn't beat her with a slipper. But Lulu was scolded while her mother was busy removing all the drawings she made on her body. Louisa told her not to do it again because it looks dirty on her baby skin and the marker ink may cause itchiness or redness on her skin. Afraid that she will really feel itchy, Lulu promised that she will never use a marker to draw on her body.

That's why seeing Troy today who has a lot of tattoos on his body, Lulu is worried that his mommy will also hit his butt with a slipper. And the drawings on his body are not cute either. They are just drawings of wiggling worms and shellfishes being cooked directly on the fire. In the little girl's eyes, this uncle is really weird for having those tattoos.

Troy tries to open his mouth but no words come out of it. The tattoos on his arms are mostly Fibonacci and Bohemian tattoos. He asked his friend to put these tattoos on his body last year. To make the designs more attractive, Troy surrounded them with fire tattoos.

Many people said his tattoos are cool and manly. The girls in the club where he usually went are also complimenting him about it. But this little brat just called his cool tattoos as worms and shellfishes? Is she asking for a beating?!

Jackson can see the anger bubbling inside Troy's chest. But he doesn't care about his feelings. Although Troy looks like he will explode in anger, Jackson cannot stop his laughter anymore. He will never see those tattoos the same ever again.

"Daddy, stop laughing." Lulu seriously said. "We should bring soap and water for uncle to remove the drawings on his body. After that, we need to pour him with alcohol."

"What did you say?"

"Uncle, I heard getting spank on your butt will hurt a lot." Lulu said in a thoughtful voice. "You should stop putting cooked worms and shellfishes on your arms."

"Pfft..."

Jackson has to put down Lulu and hold his stomach. He cannot stop laughing because of this chubby baby's silly thoughts. His laughter doubles whenever he looks at Troy and his tattoos. Thinking about it, most of his tattoos really looks like wiggling worms, especially those spiral drawings on his face.

"Fuck. Wiggling worms and shellfishes..." Jackson said while laughing. There are even unshed tears at the corner of his eyes.

Lulu gets worried about her daddy. Her daddy looks like he cannot breathe while holding his stomach. There are even tears in his eyes. Pressing her lips, Lulu approaches her daddy and gives him a pat. The little girl remembered her mommy was doing that whenever she feels sick.

"Daddy, are you hungry? I can give you my fried chicken." Lulu tried coaxing her crying daddy.

Jackson tries to calm down and takes a deep breath. But looking at Lulu and then the tattoos on Troy's body, another surge of laughter appears on Jackson's chest and he starts laughing again. He even hugs the soft baby in his arms and ruffles her hair so hard that it becomes a bird's nest.

"Fuck it. You are such a unique chibi baby." Jackson said while wiping his eyes.

He takes a deep breath first before standing up.

"I hope we can have a good match later, Mr. Worm—I mean, Mr. Troy." Jackson said with a smile.

Without waiting for Troy's reply, Jackson picks up the little girl again and returns to his car.
