An old lesson

"What?" Ares asked, flabbergasted.

He turned completely to Hera, looking at her serious eyes. Her face didn't flinch, she just kept staring at him while patting her sword. Her proposal was still echoing in Ares' ears as he didn't know how to react to that.

It wasn't every day when a Colonel challenged you for a duel. Actually, it was nearly impossible to happen. After all, a Colonel didn't have anything to solve with a mere trainee. Their fight wouldn't even be considered a duel, but rather a punishment or humiliation.

"What do you have in mind by asking me to spare with you?" Ares asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Don't look at your superior with this kind of expression, you wimp. I am not asking you to do so, I am ordering a duel. If I have an ulterior motive to do so, it's my business, not yours."
