"That's a good attack you have there, huh? Very impressive for someone who hasn't reached even the twenties yet..." someone's voice reached Ares' ears.
He was too busy looking at the blade of the saber which was just some meters away from his throat. Cold sweat ran down his back as he looked at that weapon and gulped.
'If it wasn't for this person placing her sword in front of my throat, I would have been gone... I could read through her intentions and came to know that she was aiming for my throat this time. She was aware that I knew about her patterns, so in a final slash, she would aim to somewhere else, it was quite obvious. Nonetheless, I couldn't follow her speed. It was just too sudden as if she had always been near enough to hit me...'
Ares moved his eyes to the side just to see another woman standing beside him. One of her arms was wrapped around Ares' shoulder and the other was holding the sword that interposed in Rebecca's way.
