Chapter nineteen

They had French Dip Sandwich for dinner. After dinner Tracy asked Lilly for more details of what happened at the coffee shop, lily smiled and told her everything, Tracy smiled and said " I think a love story is about to take place " lily blushed and said "stop it" She said jokingly. Tracy stood up and went to her room, Jane had some documents to work on, she didn't pay attention to what Tracy and Lily was talking about, an hour later Lily told Jane he needs to rest and said goodnight, Lily laid on her bed, the thought of meeting her crush again clouded her mind, she giggled, she said "who could have thought she'll meet him in Los Angeles, she slept that night with smile on her face.

The next morning, Jane and Tracy prepared for work and left, lily decided to check for more job openings online, she prayed to be accepted by one of the companies she has summited application letter, three hours later her phone rang, she picked up the phone and said "Hello" and the other side of line a soft female voice said "Hi I'm Stephanie from Brooklyn company, your application has been accepted, you are requested to start work tomorrow, then she hung up.

Lily was so excited she called Tracy and Jane on a conference call, she told them about the called she received, the ladies were happy for her, Tracy said " we'll go out to celebrate when I'm back from work". Tracy and Jane came back from work, the ladies went out to celebrate, they had a nice time and wished Amanda was there. They called Amanda and told her the good news, Amanda was happy for Lily and told them she will be coming soon . The next morning the ladies prepared for work. Lily got to the Brooklyn company, she stood in front of the company, she looked at the big building In front of her, she said "time to make dreams come true".

Chapter twenty

Lily entered the building she saw a lot of people chatting, everyone looked business, they were busy with work, lily walked towards the receptionist desk and told her she received a call that she should start working at Brooklyn's company, the woman asked Lily for some information, lily gave her, the woman checked her computer, few minutes later she smiled and told Lily to follow her, they got to one of the office, the woman knocked and entered alongside with lily, she introduced lily to her Boss and left. The man in front of lily was in his early 40s, he told lily to sit-down, he spoke to her for few minutes then he said let me show you your office, lily followed him, he showed her and said welcome to Brooklyn company, then he left. Lily entered her office, she was excited, she called Tracy, Jane and Amanda, then she called her parents to tell them the good news.

Lily called her Dad, She told him, she has gotten a job, her dad was happy, her Dad said "I'm proud of you" she asked after her Mom, the conversation went on for some minutes then she hung up. Lily had a lot to do on her first day at work, she got home exhausted, she had her bath, then prepared something to eat after eating, lily turned on the TV to watch a series, she thought of Amanda, suddenly her phone rang, she picked up her phone and said "hello", Lily smiled, she knew who called, He asked how her first day at the company went, she told him her experience at the company, she talked about her new Boss and asked him his department at the company, he said " I'm one of the editorial team at the company.

Chapter twenty one

She asks him how his day went, he told her he had lots of documents to work on, he just got back from the office. Minutes later they said goodbye and Hung up. Jane came back from work she looked happy, lily asked her, how her day went, she told lily Mr. Diego came to her office to see her and they had lunch together, lily asked her "who's Mr. Diego?" Jane said " oh Mr. Diego is someone I meant at the conference I attended yesterday" Tracy walked in and saw them talking she said "Jane who are you gossiping about?" the ladies laughed and welcomed Tracy, then Jane said " I think he likes me" Lily smiled, Tracy said "hmm good for you" she left lily and Jane, she walked to her room to have her bath. Jane continued telling Lily how the lunch with Mr. Diego went, when she was done she stood up and went to her room to shower. Later she joined Lily at the living room, both ladies watched a show on the TV, Tracy joined them few minutes later.

They're watched "THE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN". Few hours later Jane said " I'm tired" she stood up, stretched herself and said "I'm going to bed" she walked to her room. Tracy told lily she wants to call Aaron, she stood up and left lily and went to her room to make the call. She spoke to Aaron on the phone for some minutes, then she hung up and went to bed. Lily decided to call Amanda, she tried calling, but Amanda's number didn't go through, she was a bit worried, she told herself "Amanda is fine, don't worry".
