Chapter seventeen

Lily got to Los Angeles, she came out of the cab and went straight to her friends apartment, they were happy to receive her. The girls talked about school days, their friends in school, incident that happened in college, they also talked about Amanda and they said some speech lines Amanda usually use back then in college, they all laughed loudly, the girls decided to go out to celebrate Lily's arrival. They went clubbing all night, they got back home very late, it was weekend, Tracy and Jane were free on weekends.

The next morning, they decided to help lily search for jobs online, they submitted some applications online, wrote down some addresses that had vacancy. Few minutes later Jane's phone rang, she picked the call, Amanda with an excited voice said " I'm coming to Los Angeles" they all shouted with excitement, they told her, they told her more about Los Angeles, Amanda told them she can't wait to see them again. They talked for a long time, Amanda told them she will be in Los Angeles in a month time then she hung up they were all excited, Tracy, Jane and lily talked about their dreams, they talked about their ambitions, about having their own companies .

The next day, Tracy and Jane left for work, Lily decided to summit application letters to those addresses Jane and Tracy wrote down for her, she dressed up, looking elegant and Headed out, after summiting some application letters, she decided to have coffee at a nearby coffee shop close to one of the companies she just submitted her application letter, she opened the door, still looking at the list of Addresses on her hand, she bumped into someone, she immediately apologized, the young man smiled and said "it's okay" staring at his shirt, she was about going to make her order, He said " sorry miss, have we met?" I don't know but I think this is not my first time seeing you", she looked at him and said "oh my God!!!" why do I always bump into you, He laughed and said "yeah… that's right" you are the girl that bumped into me and refused to reply me in college".

Chapter eighteen

They introduce themselves, he asked her if she works close by, she told him she just submitted application letter at Brooklyn's company, He said " that's where I work", then he insisted to buy her coffee, they sat down, he told her few things about the company and hoped the company accepts her. Lily still had a crush on him, she just looked at him, " gosh he's still good looking and damn hot" she told herself to get over it, he might be engaged or in a serious relationship, she took a deep breath and continued listening to him. He told her about his family and said they lived in Los Angeles too, he asked about her family She told him her family are in Greek's valley, she left Greeks valley to search for a job in Los Angeles, she told him, she stays with her friends, and her friends graduated from Francis college of Arts too.

Some minutes Later he stood up and said " I have to get back to the office" they exchanged phone numbers and he left. Immediately lily called Tracy and told her who she met, Tracy was excited, she asked " I hope you asked his name and phone number this time ?" lily laughed and said "yes I did, and he gave me his phone number. Both ladies laughed and Hung up. She stood up few minutes later and went to other companies on the list and then submitted her application letter. She went back home tired and reminiscing about what happened at the coffee shop, later that day Tracy and Jane got back from work looking tired, Tracy complained how stressful her job was and can't wait to have her own company, and have people working for her.
