Chapter twenty four

Two days after Tracy came back home, she heard Amanda, lily and Jane, laughing loudly in the kitchen, she went straight to the kitchen and said "I'm back", Amanda replied " how nice, so… How was the sex?" They all laughed, Tracy replied " HOT!" The ladies burst into laughter, Tracy left them in the kitchen, she went to her room, she had her bath, called Aaron and told him she has gotten home, the love birds talked for an hour, then they said goodbye and Hung up, Tracy went back to the kitchen, she dished the meal, sat at the dining and started eating, Jane turned to Amanda and said "there is vacancy at where I work. Amanda replied her and said "really? That's good news, I'll summit my Application letter tomorrow then", Amanda stood up and left, she got to her room and started working on her application letter.

The next day, Amanda went to where Jane worked, she summited her Application letter and stopped at the grocery store, she bought few vegetables and left. Jon texted lily and told her she should meet him at the coffee shop during lunch break which she did, He told her there was an emergency, she said "an emergency? What's the emergency?" He answered " it's nothing for you to be worried about, I will be traveling the next day, my family needs me, then he said there something important I need to tell you", she asked him "what is it?" He looked at her and said Lily I'm in love with you " lily felt like the world paused for a minute, she smiled and said" Me too" Jon was happy to know Lily felt the same way, he told her, he'll be back in a couple of days and their company has permitted him to leave, then he peeked her, and told her it's time to get back to work, Lily was still day-dreaming, he called her "lily", she smiled childishly and said " Yes" he said "we need to get back to work", Lily came back to reality immediately and said "oh yeah, yeah, let's go" they left the coffee shop.

Lily got home from work, had her bath, had dinner went back to her room, she called Jon's number but it wasn't connecting, then she went back to meet her friends, they talked about work, Amanda said she submitted some Application letters online and at where Jane works. Then she said, she pray they call her to resume work, they encouraged Amanda and started talking about random things, then lily told them she's officially dating Jon, her friends were happy for her, Tracy told them Aaron is relocating to Los Angeles by next month, Jane also told them Mr Diego asked her out and she accepted, the room was filled with laughter .

Chapter twenty five

Weeks passed and lily haven't heard from Jon, she became worried as she prepared to go to work, she had no one to asked about him, then she remembered the Editorial department, she decided to ask one of the editorial team member, she got to the office, after she was done with the document she was working on, she went to the Editorial department, she asked someone if he has seen Jon, the man asked her who Jon was, she told him he's part of their tem, he said he knows every team member, no one is bearing that name in their department, she was surprised, she walked back to her office, convinced herself that the man didn't know the names of all the team members or Jon was known with another name, she tried calling his number again, but it still wasn't going through, she told herself Jon was okay wherever he is. Weeks became months, lily still haven't heard from Jon, she tried calling him several times, his number wasn't reachable, Lily was very worried about him, she prayed for Jon to be okay, She prayed to God to keep Jon safe.

Two months after, Aaron sat next to Tracy, he told Amanda, Jane and lily about his new job, he told them the pay wasn't that much but he needed the job. Amanda complained about her job, she hated her Boss, she said her Boss was annoying and rude.

One day Lily laid on her bed thinking what might have happened to Jon, why haven't he called her, she hoped Jon didn't lie to her about himself, she hoped he didn't made her fall in love with him and left her, she cried, she went to the kitchen to have a cup of water then decided to stay with Amanda and watched Harry Potter, Amanda noticed lily's mood and asked her what was wrong, lily said nothing to her, she was silent, deep in her thoughts, Amanda decided not to disturb lily, she thought (she will talk when she's ready) Amanda continued watching the movie, lily was staring at the TV, deep in her thoughts, she wished Jon would call her, few hours later Lily stood up and left to her room, she picked up her phone and saw three missed calls from Jon, she was excited, she hurriedly called him back but his number wasn't reachable, really was sad, she cried and slept off.

Lily was in her office when the telephone rang, she picked it up and said "hello" the woman on the line said " the CEO wants you in his office now!' she hung up, lily was shocked, what has she done, why does the CEO wants to see her? She was scared, she cherished her job, so many things were running through her mind, Lily entered the elevator pushed the button, she was still wondering what she did, the CEO does not communicate with his workers directly, his mangers were the ones representing the CEO.

The elevator opened, lily walked out of it, walked straight down the hallway, she got to an office, she greeted the secretary, told her who she was, the secretary made a phone call, then told lily to go in, Lily smiled at her then left the secretary's desk, she took a deep breath, she walked to the office and knocked, she Heard a voice saying "come in" Lily went in, the office was very big, it was decorated with fancy furniture's, she saw lots of award on the shelf.
