Chapter twenty six

The CEO was on a call, he said "sit" she sat down, still praying and hoping she haven't done anything wrong, the CEO talk on the phone for a couple of minutes, lily could barely hear what he was saying, but she didn't care, all she cared about was her job, the CEO ended the call and turned his chair to face her, lily almost had a heart attack, She said " what's wrong with me? I've started seeing him everywhere" she tapped herself to come back to reality, the CEO laughed and said, lily it's me, she said "how? I don't understand" He left his chair and walked to the other side of the table, to where lily sat, he held her hands and said" lily I've missed you" lily cried, she told him how scared she was in the past few months, she thought something might have happened to him, he hugged her and said " I'm sorry".

I had to attend to my other company in the Australia, I didn't know I didn't I would stay that long, my company needed me to handle a couple of things before leaving, I planed on telling you everything, once I came back, he kissed her and said "I'm sorry" he cleaned her tears and told her , they should go out for lunch, Lily replied "it's not yet time for lunch break" he smiled and said "I'm the CEO, I make the rules" lily smiled and replied okay "Boss" he laughed and said "I've really missed you" he stood up, made a few calls and said " let's go" lily followed him to a private elevator, he opened the elevator, they both walked in, then it closed and started going down, lily then said " so….

This is why no staff has seen the CEO, he has his personal elevator, Jon laughed and kissed lily, till the elevator opened, they walked out of the elevator, lily couldn't believe her eyes, there was lots of Fancy cars parked there, she said, " wow" he smiled and pressed his car key, the car lights flashed, lily was shocked, Jon had a Ferrari, then she realized she knew nothing about Jon, but she was happy he was okay, Jon drove to a fancy restaurant, they walked in, a Waiter welcomed them, he stood and waited till they made their order then he left.

He told her about his family, his businesses and why he couldn't tell her at first, he said he wanted to take things slowly, and was scared if she would have agreed to date her Boss. She replied him " you really made me worry" he replied her "I'm sorry from now on, I'll always be by your side", lily smiled and said "me too" after lunch, they went back to the office, lily told him to stop close to the company, she will walk from there to the office. She don't want their relationship to be known at the company yet, it will affect her relationship with her co-workers, he said "I understand" he stopped close to the company, lily told him goodbye and left, she couldn't believe Jon was actually her Boss, lily walked to her office, she sat on her chair and started reminiscing, suddenly the door opened.

"Miss Lily" are you done with the documents I gave you?!" she was about working on it, when she got the call to meet the CEO, she said " I haven't worked on it", she apologized to the manager, he shouted " I want that work done before closing hour, or else you will lose your Job" lily apologized and promised to get it done as soon as possible. Immediately her manager left her office, Lily worked on the documents on her desk, she finished it on time, and gave it to her manager, then she went home.

chapter twenty seven

Lily got home exhausted, she met Tracy at home she said " you closed early today" Tracy replied "I'm not feeling well, so I had to leave the office, how was work?" Lily smiled and said " the unbelievable happened", she walked to her room had her bath, went back to the living room and joined Tracy, she asked Tracy if she has taken any medication, Tracy replied her "Aaron took me to the hospital", lily said "okay".

Later that day Amanda and Jane came back from work together, Amanda had called Jane to pick her up on her way home, they saw Lilly and Tracy, they greeted them, Amanda started complaining about her Boss, she said "I think my Boss hates me" Tracy replied and said " who won't hate you" they all laughed except Amanda, she didn't care about what Tracy said, she continued talking about her Boss, lily told them she will be the one to make dinner, she stood up and left, Jane later joined her to assist her in the kitchen, lily asked about Mr Diego, Jane said a lot of nice things about him, few minutes later, dinner was served.

Lily and Jon were so much in love, they talked whenever they were free. Months past, during the Christmas holiday, Lily told Jon she will be traveling to Greeks valley to be with her family and spend Christmas with them. He told her, he will miss her. The following week, Lily travelled to Greeks valley, her family were happy to see her, she told them about Los Angeles and the company she worked for, her parents told her how proud they was about her, her dad said " Lily even if I don't see you on TV, I'm glad you're happy with your job" Lily smiled.

Lily called Jon later that evening, she told him how her journey went, and how Greeks valley has changed a lot, he told her, he'll be traveling tomorrow, she asked where he was traveling too, he told her he wants to spend Christmas with his family, she was happy both of them will be spending Christmas with their families.
