Ren and Ivy can't help but play with the hares. Whoever gets one wins.
Hare is a fast-running, long-eared mammal that resembles a large rabbit, having long hind legs and occurring typically in grassland or open woodland. So, getting one, especially if you are a female, would be a hard task.
Seeing that the females are having fun, Mar and Agni can't stop watching them. They laughed a lot, seeing the females stumbling just to catch a hare.
Ren spotted a very cute hare with a black, brown, and white furr. She runs as fast as she can but with no luck of catching it.
Mar and Agni are busy talking about some stuff about the village when they hear Ivy screaming. Both got shocked to see Ivy looking at the cliff in terror.
They immediately went to the crying Ivy and asked what happened and where Ren is.
"We were just chasing hares, and Ren is just running around. I think she didn't notice that that was the end of the cliff and fell. Please, Chief, look for her." Ivy said, crying.
Mar was shocked to hear the news, but he went to the end of the cliff as fast as he could. When he was about to jump, Agni held his shoulder and stopped him.
"Chief, let's just find a way to get down there and look for her."
Mar can't think straight. He doesn't know what to feel and say.
Both of them change into beast form and look for a way to get down from the cliff.
The cliff is so high that it is really impossible for them to go down from it.
They have reached the base of the cliff and are looking for Ren. She is nowhere to be found.
Mar is getting more and more anxious as they search for Ren for hours.
"Chief, it's already dark, and Ivy are alone up on the cliff waiting for us. It's too dangerous for her to be up there by herself."
"I understand. You go up there and bring Ivy home and bring some of our men here to help me find Ren."
"Okay, chief. Be careful. I sense danger."
"Thank you, Agni. I sense it too, so don't worry. Bring Ivy back home and tell her mom to look after Ezra for an additional time. Thank her for me."
"No problem, chief. I'll be going."
Agni left and went to pick up Ivy and brought her home. He then rushed to come back in his beast form with twenty of the men from their village to help with finding Ren.
They reached where Mar is, still looking for Ren looking anxious.
"Chief, I'm back. I brought Bon and some of the men from the village."
Bon spoke, "Don't worry, chief, we will find her. I don't smell blood in the air. she must have survived the fall or is hanging on a branch somewhere on the cliff."
Mar then looked at Bon and replied, "You're right. She must be safe. I have been looking for hours and couldn't find her. I also didn't smell blood, as you said. It's just that I couldn't think straight right now."
"Let us help." Bon replied.
"Thank you, Bon and everyone. Thank you, Agni, for coming back as fast as you could."
He then instructed every one of them on where to look.
Sunrise came, and all of them were still searching. They tirelessly searched everywhere, but they still couldn't find Ren.
Mar is looking at the twilight, he thought to himself, "We couldn't find her everywhere, no blood, no body. Where could she be?"
