First round winners

Kane sat in the waiting room and watched the remaining matches. The fights of the next eleven matches were not that spectacular as the competitors did not seem to have anyone with a beast blood mutation.

The winners of those matches were purely determined by the fighter's skills and the weapon they used. It was still important for Kane to watch though as they were incredibly important to him. Everyone in those matches was at least in tier 3 of the mutant realm.

The sixth match was between Kateb Bazzi and Muneer Koury

Kateb was a young man who looked to be in his early twenties and was in tier 4 of the mutant realm. Muneer was a man who was obese and was also in tier 4 of the mutant realm. He was bald and his golden robes made him look like a monk. It was really hard for Kane to determine the man's age through all that fat.

The winner was surprisingly Muneer. He was quite nimble considering how fat he was. His choice of weapon was a staff and the skills he displayed were enough to knock around Kateb, who used a combat knife as his weapon until the referee decided to stop the match after he was stumbling around the stage trying to get away from Muneer.

The seventh match was between Atyaf Maalouf and Zafar Mifsud.

Atyaf was a young lady and was pleasing to the eyes. She looked gentle and seemed like she was quite shy. She was in tier 4 of the mutant realm. Her opponent was Zafar. He was in his early twenties and had average looks. He was in tier 5 of the mutant realm.

When they were teleported onto the stage, the referee began the match after confirming the competitors' conditions.

Atyaf unsheathed her slender sword strapped by her waist and waited for her opponent, Zafar to put on his brass knuckles. She started the fight by saying "please be gentle" in a voice that elicited pity.

The match ended when Zafar almost beat her to a bloody pulp though before the referee stopped the fight and declared Zafar the winner.

When Zafar teleported back into the waiting room he was glared at by female occupants but he did not even care one bit about what they thought.

"Lol. I have never seen someone with such thick skin. But that is how things are supposed to be. You should be ruthless, especially when dealing with the opposite gender or you will fall to their charm" said Abel. Kane briefly remembered his mother who was immediately killed when she betrayed his father and his aversion towards the opposite gender grew worse.

The eighth match was between Haniya Cham and Kalila Malouf.

Haniya was a female in tier 3 of the mutant realm. She was surprisingly young, Kane guessed she was still in her teens. She was not considered beautiful as she looked more like a boy. Her hair was cut short and she looked like a tomboy with her well-defined muscles and combat robes meant to be worn by men. She hung a nunchuck on her waist.

Kalila was a female in her mid-twenties. She was in tier 3 of the mutant realm. Her looks were average and she had a sword strapped to her waist.

They were teleported onto the stage and the match was commenced by the referee. The two competitors took out their weapons. Kalila unsheathed her sword while Haniya took out her nunchuck.

The fight got heated right away. Haniya's great skill with the nunchuck was displayed for all to see. She could easily parry Kalila's sword attacks while the latter found the trajectory of the nunchuck unpredictable.

Haniya's unrelenting attack proved too much for her enemy to handle. She kept on taking damage until the referee decided to end the match and declared Haniya the winner.

"That Haniya girl is a genius. Her being in the mutant realm at such a young age is enough proof. You should watch her closely. Get her into your circle" said Abel after watching that match.

The ninth match was between Murtada Sayegh and Baligh Ganem.

Both were male and had nothing remarkable about them. Murtada was in tier 4 of the mutant realm and used a sword as his weapon. Baligh was also in tier 4 of the mutant realm.

When they were both teleported onto the stage, the match was soon started by the referee. Murtada unsheathed his sword and took his stance while watching his opponent. He was surprised when he saw Baligh extend his palms in a defensive stance that looked like he fought with them.

Murtada cautiously approached his opponent and began his assault sword swinging. Baligh began to masterfully dodge and weave his way around his opponent's sword attacks while looking for chances to counterattack.

As time progressed, he had the opportunity to sneak in several palm strikes at his opponent's chest causing the latter to stagger from time to time. The tide of battle soon turned in Baligh's favor as the damage dealt to his opponent began to pile up.

Murtada got his moves disrupted continually by his opponent until he did not have the chance to even attack. Very soon, he even lost his ability to defend himself and could only watch helplessly as the blows kept landing on his body.

The referee soon called the match to a close when Murtada crumpled to the floor. Baligh was declared the winner.

The tenth match was between Khairy Dagher and Fellah Sayegh.

Khairy was a man in his early twenties and was in tier 4 of the mutant realm. His weapon of choice was a sword. Fellah was a man who was in tier 5 of the mutant realm his weapon was also a sword.

The fight was one-sided and Fellah was declared the winner

The eleventh match was between Ferran Azzi and Nabeel Mansoor

Ferran was a man who was dark in complexion. He was very muscular and had a war hammer slung on his back. He was in tier 5 of the mutant realm. His opponent, Nabeel was also in tier 5 of the mutant realm. His weapon of choice was a sword.

During the match, Nabeel seemed to have the upper hand since his sword swings were much faster than his opponent's hammer strikes and even managed to land some hits. That soon changed as it looked like Ferran only needed time to master Nabeel's attack pattern.

Ferran quickly began to match his opponent's pace as their weapons began to clash. Nabeel could not match his opponent's strength and every clash damaged his hands and they began bleeding at some point.

The match was stopped in time by the referee as he stooped Ferran's hammer that was about to smash his opponent's skull. Ferran was declared the winner afterward.

The twelfth match was between Ziyad Mustafa and Zeena Kaleel.

Ziyad was probably the oldest person in the room. He looked like he was in his late twenties or early thirties. He was in tier 5 of the mutant realm and his weapon of choice was a sword. Zeena was a lady who was quite beautiful. She was in tier 5 of the mutant realm and she used two short swords.

The match soon began and the competitors took their stances. They soon clashed. Blades were flying everywhere. Ziyad's sword skill was a spectacle to behold fluidly alternating between offense and defense when the need arose. His opponent Zeena was also really good with her short swords.

She was very nimble too and fleeted around her opponent like a ghost. The fight dragged on but Ziyad could not maintain the stalemate. Zeena was just too quick for him. The cuts he received began to accumulate and he started to lose strength as he slowly bled out.

The match was stopped by the referee when he could no longer fight and Zeena was declared the winner.

The thirteenth match was between Ghunwah Azizi and Anbar Sayed.

Ghunwah was a lady who was in her mid-twenties. She had a scar on her left cheek which looked like it was done by a knife. She was quite muscular even for a lady and had a face that looked always angry. She was in tier 5 of the mutant realm and her weapon of choice was two combat knives.

Anbar was a man in his mid-twenties. He was in tier 5 of the mutant realm and he was the third competitor than did not use any weapon.

Their match began soon after they were teleported onto the stage. Anbar looked like a martial arts master as he fought his opponent unarmed. He skillfully evaded Ghunwah's blade attacks and borrowed her momentum to deliver some quite impressive reversals and counterattacks.

Ghunwah managed to land a few cuts on her opponent but they were shallow and did not hit his vital points. She kept receiving some brutal beatdowns and was soon heavily injured because she would just not quit.

The referee decided to stop the match when he determined that her life would be in danger if the fight continued. Anbar was declared the winner of the match.
