Serena struggled to keep her senses. His scent filled her nostrils, and her core shivered with anticipation. They were so close to each other, their lips almost touching.

Damian's broad shoulder rose and fell with slow controlled breaths. Her words shook him. He has a penetrating gaze, he gazed at her with a serious face. But Serena could swear that she saw him almost smiling.

"You shouldn't play with dangerous words, little one," he uttered.

Serena pressed her body against his, closing in on him. She leaned to his ear and whispered. "I'm not that little."

Damian swallowed hard. Had was beginning to see that about her. She was more than met the eye and she didn't let him forget it. It was like each day, he was meeting her for the first time.
