She inched closer to him and snuggled into his arms. Alex was another part of her past she wanted to keep away from her present relationship. The man was like an infection that affected everyone thing he touched and she didn't want anyone hexing their love.

Damian and Serena returned to the dining room a while later. They had their food before he left the Delarosa mansion.

Ivy retired to her room too exhausted to continue moving. Serena remained in the living room watching a movie. The day had gone the way that she had planned.
