The bell rang indicating that it was time for lunch. The teacher wrapped up the lesson and moved out of the classroom.

"Should we have lunch together," Mia tilted her head towards Jax. The male looked ahead at Serena and caught Serna eying him.

"What are you having for lunch, snow?" he asked her ignoring the question raised by Mia.

"Nanny packed me some rice and chicken," she said innocently feeling awkward in the position that Jax had put her in. Because now Mia gave her a weird look that made the hair on her skin stand straight.

"You can share mine," Mia stated before Jax completed his sentence. The man turned his head to the side and gave her a sharp glare.

"We should head to the canteen," Maya suggested feeling a sweat trickle down her spine. Jax's change of temper scared her, she didn't want the man to lose control and remember that at some point she had wronged him and deserved to be punished.
