"I didn't do anything, Serena. Jax is the one who hugged me," Maya said finally getting her voice.

She was tired of being silent and watching Mia twist the story to favor her agenda. She stepped forward and took Serena's hand in hers.

"Believe me, Serena, I didn't do anything," she pleaded.

Mia scoffed. She turned her gaze to Serena. Her eyes were as clear as day with feigned sincerity in them.

"Do you think that Jax is the type to get close to people so easily?" She questioned Serena. "Do you think that Jax is in love with Maya to romance her?" She asked stressing the keyword 'love'.

Serena furrowed her eyebrows. Jax couldn't have made the first move, he didn't like Maya. He was in love with her.
