Maya looked at Jax too bewildered to speak. The more she watched him, the more her mind becomes clouded like she was in a maze to she couldn't find the exit.

She wanted to speak up and refuse his words and tell everyone that they weren't together. But a part of her didn't want to do that and that part was stronger, so she remained quiet.

Maya placed her hand on his chest to stabilize herself. She blushed, because of the warm breath clouding her senses, his proximity in knowing that her chest was so close to his.

"Girlfriend?!" Mia and Serena let out in unison. Astounded by the news that the man laid on them. It was hard to process that truth.

"Yes," he let out in a soft voice. "We met a few months ago abroad and fell in love, we fought when she came back into the country and still seems to be mad at me," he added.
