Chapter 51: What true love is (2)

The clock on the wall kept ticking. A minute turned into an hour and an hour turned into a few hours.

School ended and the security man closed up unaware of Serena's presence in the school.

Serena was in the art room weeping, burying her buggy face into her moist hands.

It had already gotten dark outside.

She had been crying for a long but the tears refused to stop falling from her eyes. She thought that after uniting with the prince charming, everything would be fine but love doesn't fix any problems in life.

Her body was growing weaker. Her eyes were red and tired from all the crying. The knowledge of how her first life went didn't offer a single consolation to her second life.

Things were happening differently. Making it hard to keep up with everything. Serena dropped to the ground, her eyes giving out and closing. She clenched her hands into a fist too scared to fade into the dark.
