I give up

Serena emptied the bottle of alcohol. Dressed in the patient's dress, she wondered the street. Stumbling from how tipsy she was.

She had snuck out of the hospital and went out for a drink. She had not eaten since the party the previous night, with only alcohol in her system. The pain in her stomach intensified.

She hugged a pole and swung around it to push herself onto the streets. "She can never have a child," the doctor's words reverberated in her ear over and over again.

Serena pranced forward walking onto the road. She had cried so much yet her tears weren't drying. She fell to the ground, too tired to get herself up, she remained on the ground.

"Why is my life like this?" She asked out loud.

Two lights started approaching her from the distance. The sound of car horns echoed in the air, however, Serena didn't move.
