Last time?

It's early morning when the typical mix of noises from the car engine, high-pitched horns, and crowds pass through the cracks of the windows of Serena's bedroom, jolting her awake.

She stared into the distance. She was in pain. Serena could feel a headache coming in from the hungover she was having. Her stomach had a sharp cutting pain, a reminder of why she went drinking in the first place.

Other than the things that happened at the hospital and the moment at the club when she ordered the drinks, she didn't recall much else of the night she had.

She massaged her temples and got up to get ready for the day. Serena strolled over to the bathroom and freshen up. She changed into a floral yellow dress and some flip-flops.

Serena didn't have any plans to go out. Or to see anyone, she wished to spend the day with her thoughts, something that she hadn't done in a long time.
