Serena places her phone on the charger. She turns to exit the room. But Pietro stops her by holding her hand.

He lifts her chin with one of his hands, making Serena look directly into his eyes. "Do you disagree with my offer?"

Serena is overwhelmed by emotions. "N..no," she nervously responded.

Pietro's lips turn up into a smirk. She could tell that he was satisfied by the answer.

Serena moves away from his grip, and turns around, facing the mirror and not him. She glanced at the mirror and meets the reflection in his eyes. They were glowing beautifully, with not a bit of hesitation in them.

She lets out a nervous chuckle. Pietro looks cuter that day than his usual hot and sexy self. Serena dares to twirl her body in his direction.

One of her hands goes around Pietro's neck while the other one stays on his chest, a finger trailing his abs.
