My treasure

"I need your help," Sofia implored of Acacia after pulling her aside.

Acacia couldn't be more irritated by her. They were neither sisters nor friends, it didn't make sense to her why Sofia would come to her for help.

"Why would you come to me?"

Sofia closed the distance between them and spoke. "You are my sister, it is the least that you can do for me."

Her words caused Acacia to tense. The truth was yet to sink in heart. Acacia looked to her right and her left to ensure that no one had overheard what Sofia said.

She turned pale almost immediately, and shuddered at the idea. Being related to Sofia wasn't her choice and sadly she felt it gave Sofia an entitlement to use it to get her to do her bidding.

A situation that made her heart to drop to the pit of her stomach. "I might be related to you but I am not your slave. I don't owe you anything and I will not help you," she let out in anger.
