All the roads lead to that book? p1

"What the fuck?!" Yurei said.

"You're telling me that my best friend's family are actually supernatural hunters?!" Garrick couldn't believe his ears.

"Yuuya's family can't be supernatural hunters?! Aren't those the same people who helped with those shitty labs that kidnapped literal children?!" Jade said, "I just can't believe it I mean that day when they came to visit Yuuya at the hospital, his parents knew that most of us in the hospital were supernaturals, they seemed pretty normal towards us, like they even tried to recruit me as a daughter-in-law?!" She added.

Edward opened his mouth to speak but before he could do, Yurei noticed how Ramon and Ned were exchanging suspicious glances with each other.

"You two?! You're fuckin FBI! Did you know about this?!" Yurei said to them.

"Should we tell them?" Ramon asked Ned.

Sighing, "Fine, here's the thing, Yuuya's parents aren't hunters, the hunters Edward spoke about are relatives of Yuuya.

And For these past years since the supernatural federal bureau of investigation was put together, We have gathered a list of names.

The names belong to various supernatural hunters which we caught during our work.

Amongst the names, were a woman we caught years ago, At first we thought she was just like the rest of the supernatural hunters, indiscriminately hunting anything supernatural, until we found out through investigation that she was apparently operating by a moral code, she would only hunt supernatural creatures that have committed crimes or were hurting others even if the person they're hurting was another supernatural being." Ned said.

"You're joking?! A supernatural hunter who protected supernatural creatures?!" Fernando was skeptical.

"Was this woman a kizami?" Faunas asked.

"She was, turns out that a group of the kizami family of different generations were supernatural hunters but apparently they were all operating by the same moral code as that woman, they didn't hunt everything supernatural, only bad guys, sometimes even fellow supernatural hunters." Ned replied.

"That's insane?! Are they still considered supernatural hunters if they even go after fellow hunters?!" Garrick asked.

"In my opinion these people are heroes." Jade stated, "Heroes or not what they did was still a crime, killing in the name of vigilantism." Ramon replied, "I guess so, so what else did you guys uncover? I assume you can tell us a little more about it." Jasper said.

"Although I don't really want to, I guess it's safe to let you guys know.

Like we said, we uncovered some crazy things about the Kizami hunters during the investigation, However my sister who was the leader of this investigation, found something even crazier.

The group were good at their job... too good, they rarely ever fail in a mission which came as a surprise when we managed to track Few supernatural creatures that the Kizami group testified they were attacked by them but managed to escape and survive.

When we found these survivors, it was like they were born again, they became law abiding citizens and never committed any sort of a crime again, not even skipping red light out of fear that they'll be hunted down by the Kizami group.

The Kizami hunters became this urban legend in some areas that supernatural parents use to scare their children into behaving well, so my sister decided that we can use this to our advantage." Ramon replied.

"Especially around the areas where the Kizami group was active, if anyone there starts thinking about doing crimes, the first thing they hear about is the Kizami family stories, and almost half of those seem to give up on criminal activities instantly." Ned said.

"You're kidding me? supernatural FBI used a family of supernatural hunters to be their Boogeyman?!" Fernando asked.

"It seems like it, but I don't understand, so some members of the kizami family were found to be criminals and they were caught, why does nobody knows about them being caught? I assume they're jailed right?" Jasper asked.

"Most people believe they're still out there killing because most people don't know that supernatural FBI existed, not even the Kizami family did at first.

When we caught the Kizami hunters, they were shocked because they had no idea that supernatural FBI or even any supernatural law enforcement department existed, they genuinely thought they were carrying justice all by themselves." Ned replied.

"Did the rest of the family know that some of them were hunters?" Garrick asked.

"I know what you're thinking Rickie...and the answer is yes, most of them knew and they supported the group, but after we caught the group and like Ramon said, we made a deal with them.

We agreed to give them a lenient prison sentence despite their serious crimes, and we promised to hide the fact that they were caught and even provided them with some form of protection.

in exchange, they started working for us as both informants and as trainers, and their more innocent family members joined in as well.

A great number of our agents back then were trained by this Kizami group while they're still in prison." Ned explained.

Surprised, "You're working together with them? Are Yuuya's parents also part of the deal?!" Garrick asked.

"Are we just going to gloss over the fact that you Ned?! Has made another fucking deal with dangerous criminals?! I don't care if Jade thinks the Kizami group were Heroes, these people are murderers?!" Yurei bursted into anger.

To everyone's surprise, "Chill the fuck out little man?! Why you're always looking for a reason to hate on Ned?! Is it your life mission?!" Fernando spoke-up.

Confused, "Uh...this is a pretty ironic moment?! Jade questioned.

"Are you fucking with me right now?! if there's anybody in this room who supposedly hates Ned and it's his life mission to hate him, it's you! So stop acting like you're an angel all of a sudden!

If you think I'm going to buy the 'I'm a changed man now' bullshit, you must think I'm fucking dumb! Side note, I'm not!" Yurei replied.

"I understand your anger Yurei, I know this deal sounds unethical and considering the deal that I made with Lenny Levine back in the days as well, it seems like I have a pattern of dealing with criminals but we decided then that the Kizami family are more useful to us considering their background.

It's thanks to them we were able to catch a lot of other supernatural hunters, and even supernatural creatures that are also criminals." Ned said.

"In my opinion this deal is better than what happened with Lenny Levine, i mean seriously did we really have to save this guy, he should have been executed back then?" Jade said pointing at Edward.

"I think so too, I mean the results of that deal were pretty amazing...however now I don't know what to do." Ned replied.

Since he could feel the distress coming from Ned, "What's wrong?" Garrick asked.

"Well the reality is that I am not directly in charge of the kizami case, for the longest time and because she was an ordinary human, Ramon's sister was the one making sure that the family did what we asked of them.

They trusted her as well, especially the non hunters members of the kizami family, so with her death, the relationship between the family and our department was starting to become shaky, it was obvious that they weren't doing what we asked them to do." Ned replied.

"To explain it better, If you remember we said that the deal put obligation on the entire family to do at least one of two main jobs, which is training agents or providing information.

Most of those who provide information are shop owners including Yuuya's parents, who gather information from their area, and would report to us if there's anything unusual happening they would let us know immediately.

but with my sister's death, the one person who really kept them in check, you could say that they stopped cooperating, after all by the time my sister died, most the Kizami hunters have either served their full prison sentence and some of them have already died.

And The rest of the family didn't seem to have a reason to continue working with us." Ramon added.

"Which explains why Yuuya's parents never told us about the book or Edward's visit to their pawn shop, and it would seems that they did not let their son know about the other side of the family either." Ned said.

"Which leads us back to where this conversation started, The book." Faunas stated, "Exactly, what's so special about that book? If the Kizami themselves didn't seem to care for it, why did you Edward? You tried to buy it at an incredibly high price from Yuuya even though you clearly had no money?" Fernando asked eyeing a nervous Edward who was silent the whole time.

"Don't lie to us and say you don't know how valuable the book was, since you stole it from your ex master, you must know why it's important." Ramon added.

"All I know about the book is that the crazy bastard needed it...the book apparently came from a different world too." Edward replied.

"But why?! Yuuya only mentioned the story where Ned is portrayed as a murderer, what could possibly be useful about the book?! The story isn't even correct?!" Garrick said.

"Didn't you say that Yuuya said the book was a legends book? and that there's no author's name but apparently they documented what happened after the trap party?" Ned asked Garrick who nodded.

"If it is a legends book, then it must contain other important stories, most legend books also have spelles and treasure maps documented in them." Faunus replied.

"If this book had anything useful to that motherfucker, then we're officially screwed since Rapunzel took the book back." Fernando said.

"Fuck, we really should've taken the damn book before Rapunzel did?! We literally had it in our grasps!" Jade cursed.

"No need to beat ourselves about it now, what happened has happened, now we should go to Yuuya and His parents to ask them more about the book." Ned replied.

"But we also need to investigate Rapunzel! She did this to Tacito! We need to find her to make her undo what she's done!" Yurei said.

"Not to mention we have to find miss Kimberly and Yuri as well..." Faunas said making Jade feel worried, all this time she was somewhat distracted from the fact that Yuri was also missing.

"Then we need to split up, Jasper, Garrick and Yurei you three, can you handle going to the motel on your own?" Ned asked.

"Wait, you're not sending your own boyfriend and kid to find a murderous woman on the loose?! What if Rapunzel was there?!" Ramon questioned.

"Garrick is the only one that Rapunzel would most definitely not hurt, and Jasper and Yurei seem to work good as a team when it comes to ganging up on somebody." Ned replied, "Now hold on?! I can't just leave here, what about this asshole inhabitanting my fiance's body?!" Yurei asked.

"You are the only one of us here who can teleport anywhere anytime without an issue, you can escape Rapunzel and get back here if things got worse." Ned explained, "Ramon, Faunus and Fernando can stay here to keep an eye on Edward." He added.

"So that leaves you and me?" Jade asked.

"Yeah, we'll go to the hospital and have a talk with Yuuya and his parents, see what we can find about the book.

Is this alright with you Fernando? Faunus?" Ned asked.

"You can count on me mother!" Faunus said with enthusiasm, "Sure thing, I guess." Fernando replied.

"Great, Ramon?" Ned said.

While looking at Edward with an evil smirk, "I'm in, it's about time I had a conversation with my vampire sire, we just have so much to catch-up on!" Ramon replied scaring the living hell out of Edward.
