After agreeing to split-up, Yurei teleported Ned and Jade to the hospital before he took Jasper and Garrick to their destination, The motel.

In the hospital, "Should we talk to them separately? Yuuya has no idea his family has a hunting history, this could be a punch in the guts for him...maybe we should ask him what he saw in the book, and then privately ask his parents about the book in general?" Jade suggested.

Unsure, "It's not a bad idea..." Ned said.

"But?"

"But I was thinking, I can use my powers to know more about the book, however and as you already know, I'll probably pass out for hours if I do so...but if I don't use my powers how can we confirm no one is lying?"

"I can read minds mom, remember? I gotchu." Jade said.

"Yeah I know honey but this place is super crowded, if you take off your amulet, you'll go crazy in few minutes just hearing everyone yapping." Ned replied.

"Then how about I take the parents to the parking lot, it's less people around there and I'll be able to hear only few thoughts at the time, and meanwhile you take on Yuuya and Agu, Yuuya is your friend too after all so you'll probably not gonna need to use your powers to tell if he's being honest?" Jade suggested.

When her suggestion made sense to him, Ned smiled at his daughter and patted her shoulder, "See? You're quite brainy, I told you you're cut out for this kinda work after all, Fbi I mean."

"I still doubt my capabilities but I kinda wish Shadow can see me graduate the academy, she always told me that if I put my abilities in the right place, I can do great things." Jade replied.

Sighing, "Trust me, there's nothing more I wish for right now than for Shadow to be well! I want her and Garrick to meet again, I want her to see all of us, her family in love...poor Aroon getting married...oh Aroon would've definitely asked her to be his maid of honor." Ned said.

"Speaking of Aroon, he's still unaware of all of this? Poor guy doesn't even know that he's currently preparing his wedding with the help of a genocidal maniac like Luciel?!

He also has no idea who Rapunzel is and that she's back, not to mention he doesn't know Lucius, the man he's about to marry tomorrow's morning, is Garrick's half brother." Jade replied.

"He's going to hate me for hiding all of this from him, but I can't risk his happiness right now...Luciel is currently in a fragile state of mind, if I fuck with him, he'll fuck up the whole wedding I'm sure.

And Lucius is his momma's boy, he will freak the fuck out as well..." Ned said.

"Seriously...so we're just gonna attend the wedding tomorrow? Like we had planned? What if Rapunzel targets Aroon next! Maybe we should let him know before she finds him and hurt him?!"

"I don't think Rapunzel would mess with Aroon just yet, my guess if she's going to do anything because obviously since she hates Luciel too, she'll probably do something tomorrow at the wedding which is why I really hope we catch her today..."

"Yeah and Yuri would've helped us find her already, Rapunzel must've snatched my mate to stop them from helping!" Jade said with angry eyes.

"We still don't know if Yuri is indeed captured by Rapunzel, although I hope not...like you said Yuri is our best shot at taming her since Kowa is refusing to help us find her own genie."

"Seriously, why don't Kowa go find her genie bitch instead of Us?! UGH?!" Jade grunted.

Sighing, "I guess having ordinary family is out of the question for us..." Jade said, "Damn it! The wedding was supposed to be this great event we're all looking forward to! Fuck you Luciel, Lucas, whatever is your fuckin name?!" She cursed.

"Yeah, as an introvert I was looking forward to attending a stress-free beautiful wedding, I was planning to have as much fun as possible tomorrow considering that the invitee list is small and we all know each other well." Ned replied.

"Speaking of who's invited, are Yuuya and Agu invited too?" Jade asked.

"Yeah? All Garrick's friend group is? Why?" Ned questioned.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking about Kimberly...we really need to find her so she can at least attend the wedding? Hopefully we can resolve all of our issues today and tomorrow is gonna go wonderful." Jade said.

"Well, Kim is a celebrity, she has an alibi for missing the wedding if we couldn't find her but I hope we do...Garrick would be too stressed to have a good day tomorrow if Kim was still missing, and to be honest...

"I never thought I'd come here." Yurei commented as they teleported near a motel that wasobviously cheap yet neat looking.

"Ibiza motel? What a name, You know the place?" Garrick read the name, "Yeah, it's owned by a Spanish guy that Monika knew, apparently Monika used to stay here from time to time when she wasn't doing a job for Faunus.

She said the motel is cheap, no one snoops around here, they don't bother asking any questions and they hate cooperating with the police so thanks to that, this place is crawling with drug dealers and sex workers." Yurei replied.

With a raised eyebrow, "So we're walking into a criminal hub filled with junkies and hookers and possibly escaped criminals?" Jasper asked.

"Yeah, technically...although I hate when people treat sex workers like they're the worst kind of criminals, I mean sure sex work is illegal and maybe immoral but out of all criminals, hookers are most of the time harmless.

A Lot of these girls aren't here because they want to, they were either tricked or saw no other option, And they gotta deal with so much shit on top of that.

All the drugs, the abuse, the bad reputation, the occasional sex trafficking and sexual assaults, not to mention they're serial killers favorite targets...majority of police doesn't give a crap about them and society thinks they're horrid creatures that are rolling in cash but in reality most of them are paid scraps or get most of their money taken by pimps." Yurei replied.

Taken by the sincerity in his voice, Jasper raised an eyebrow at Yurei.

Smiling, "You sound like you care a little more than the average Joe about sex workers, it's really nice to see people with kinder opinions on the matter.

Nodding, "Let's agree on a plan first, I know from previous experiences that most motels don't give out informations without warrants, as an ex-cop I can't really use my old ways to try and convince the owner to help, and we can't really be telling them that Rapunzel is my mother either." Garrick said.

"I can use my ability...you know mind control, get who's ever at the desk to just spill the beans?" Jasper suggested.

"Right, I forgot you're a mind freak!" Yurei replied.

"Why you?!" Yurei was about to yell when Garrick give him a stern look, "Humph, whatever." Yurei replied.

"Alright, here's the plan, Jasper you will mind control the owner into telling us everything about Rapunzel, once we find out which room she stayed, we'll search for any clues that can help us catch her or at least find out what she's planning." Garrick said.

"Once I get every information out of the owner, my ability will stop affecting them, and I won't be able to use it for hours." Jasper commented.

"So what do we do with the owner then?" Garrick asked.

"Knock him out obviously." Yurei said.

"Sounds good to me." Jasper replied.

"Alright...Let's go then." Garrick said and the three hurried to the reception area of the motel.

An uninterested middle aged man greeted them, "Good day how can I help you." He said with a frown.

Suddenly Jasper pulled out his phone, and showed a picture of Rapunzel to the man before he locked eyes with him.

As if the man turned into a robot, his expression and eyes were now completely blank.

Without a second to spare, The man told them what day Rapunzel first came in, the room number and the fact that she came earlier while dragging a large heavy suitcase.

"A suitcase?" Jasper asked, "Yes...I joked and asked her if she's carrying a body in that suitcase...she said yes...she was joking...I think...I didn't really care... she's the only one in months who rented room 13 so I was happy.

Even though this place...is infested with criminals, no one wanted to rent that room...because a whore got killed there months ago..." The man replied.

Garrick and Yurei looked at each other in shock, "Oh...god, do you think she had Kimberly in that suitcase?!" Yurei asked.

"I hope not..."

"Is there anything else you can tell us about the woman?" Jasper asked.

"She said that there's a chance someone might come and ask about her... someone like you." The man replied.

"She told me to give you this message."

"She said, whatever you do, keep the room the way it is...don't touch anything, especially not the knife inside of The girl." The man replied.

Garrick was beyond terrified, "A KNIFE?! There's a knife inside of Kimberly?!" He shouted before he ran to find room 13.
