Chapter Sixty One

Hani sighed when she saw Macy's figure already in the waiting room of the courthouse. Many times, she said that Macy did not need to attend the trial especially with her condition still not fully recovered.

The lawyer walked over to the woman. Then sat on the chair in front of Macy. Hani looked closely at the editor. Hell, she realized that her friend's face was even worse than when she came to the hospital two days ago.

"Are you really, okay?"

Macy glanced at her and mumbled. "I cannot sleep. I think I'm a little nervous.”

"You shouldn't have come."

"It does not matter. Besides, there's nothing I can do if I stay at home. Plus, I have to take a week off."

Hani knows that Macy is very stubborn. "You're driving?"

"No. I still love my life, Lawyer Kim. By taxi."

Hani smiled. At the very least, her common sense was still working fine. "That's good. Then I'll take you home."

Macy just mumbled softly.
