Chapter One Hundred Nine

Hani muttered under her breath. “Thank you, Jared.”

"It does not matter. Although I'm a little hesitant to mention Marcus. But Macy is so stubborn that I have no choice but to do it.”

Hani turned the wheel. While she was driving to doctor Steven's office, Jared called her and said that he had tried to convince Macy to come to the hospital or to the police station according to her request.

Well, sometimes Jared is the best choice to persuade Macy, especially since they are in St. Haven. Although outside of work, they are friends but Macy will not reply to Jared's argument if the man asks her to talk in St. Haven.

“But I think it will be much better. Macy will always prioritize her son over anything and anyone else. Including herself," said the lawyer. “I just hope that she will change her mind. It's also for her own good."

There was a sigh on the other end of the phone.
