Chapter 217: You Never Know Who's Watching

It's been weeks now since Takahashi voluntarily left the Hero's party and ran towards the northern continent. He never gave any reason why he left, he just voluntarily exited without clear reasons. The only person who knew why he left the party was him alone.

Unbeknownst to anyone, the incident in the first official mission they received as a hero party had taken a great toll on the whole party both mentally and physically. After all it was their very first mission and step to join the main story of this world, however the moment that said party took that step, they immediately realized the gravity of reality.

It wasn't like happy go lucky adventure that they always imagined, instead it was burdensome, ugly, darker than they thought. It was too early for them to learn of the true nature of the whole world. Much more it was too early for them to know true despair in a form of defeat.
