LIVIYA AMORA HERNANDEZ
I entered the bakery with my handbag on my shoulder and another hand holding Jaylen. It’s been a month since I was discharged from the hospital. I’ve completely healed, but Doctor Lily doesn’t recommend that I do any muscle-required work yet.
The bakery was full of customers since it was the weekend and breakfast time. I walked into the bakery and went to my office. I brought Jaylen to the sofa and sat her down. I took out her colouring book, which I always keep at my office, and placed it on the table before her.
“Baby, you colour this book, okay? Aunty has some work to do outside. If you’re hungry, I’ll be outside. Come and find me there, okay? " She nodded her head with a smile on her face. I patted her head and went to the kitchen.
