Real World, Yohohama

Above the city of Yokohoma and its many towering banks stood a lone warrior by the name of Shallot. He wasn't supposed to be a saiyan in the real world, but due to certain events, he now sported a monkey tail. It had respawn as soon as he'd returned from Xenoverse.

He edged over and took a deep breath. Normally, one would panic at the thought of jumping from a fourteen story building, but to Shallot it was just another day.

'Zamasu's energy is over there. Ah...Reimu and Marisa, too.'

Shallot turned his head to their distinct direction and hopped off the side, pushing from the heel of his foot to go faster. He glanced down and saw that due to re-loading the game, the damage left from Sephiroth had been erased.

Just how much time he had was unclear, but he'd do anything to protect his true world. A tiny smile lifted the corner of his plump lips.

'She still loves me. After everything....noodles. No. Chisato.'

Shallot propelled himself faster, twirling as he ducked beneath the damp clouds.

Within two minutes and seventy seconds he'd crossed nearly the equivalent of fifteen miles. It was handy being a saiyan sometimes.

He spied the forms of Zamasu, Reimu and Marisa down below. They were standing on the grass inside the nearest park of Asura. Shallot landed with a loud thud on one knee and stared up at Zamasu.

"It's about time." Zamasu said. He dipped his elven ears to the side, potara earring swaying a moment before adding, "Did you give him the letter?"

"Yep."

Reimu looked around the park. Her gray eyes took in the many different civilians going on about their modern lives. She sighed a little. It was hard being a video game character within the real world. She didn't belong there, for one. Her and Marisa shouldn't even exist. Yet thanks to Game Master and his plot to merge the world, her existence had changed forever. What a shame her appearance resembled a professional cosplayer.

She sighed a little longer and said, "He's gone. For now."

"Sephiroth will show up again. You can bet on that," Shallot said. He stroked his chin, "I've beaten him once as a kid. Too bad we don't have Cloud around."

"Idiot." Zamasu said. "Cloud couldn't handle him here. It's up to us."

Marisa smirked and stuck her hand into her pocket and pulled out a tiny vial. It was her latest potion. "Heh! I'll just use this on him and--"

Reimu shot her down with a harsh look. "--A potion won't help us. We need more."

Those two began to argue back and forth. Shallot listened for a time before zoning out. He thought of his lovely wife Chisato waiting for him, his tiny daughter Kimchi, and a silly little smile grew on his face.

"What's with that dumb face? You have a better idea?" Marisa shot at him.

"Oi. Leave me outta this." Shallot crossed his arms. "I have you know I was fantasizing about my sweetheart."

"Not for long." Was Zamasu's reply. His gray eyes looked a little more chilly than usual. "She's going to forget all about you soon enough."

"Hey hey hey...those are fighting words. You wanna roll?" Shallot pulled back his sleeve angrily and spread his feet.

"Enough. Both of you. We're wasting time." Reimu said.

And so they stopped bickering and began debating on just what to do. None knew the correct answer, other than finding the Red Dragon Balls.

"As leader of the Time Patrol...I'll go find 'em." Shallot said. "You guys can figure out the rest."

With those words he took off for his apartment full speed. The plan was to get his radar and other things before setting out to search.

While he did that, Reimu, Marisa and Zamasu decided to search in different parts of the city until they found the villain Sephiroth.

Xenoverse, Gohans Home, Orange City

"Haa...haa..." Chisato rubbed the smudge from the tip of her nose and eyed her husband Trunks. He'd shed his jacket after the first thirty minutes of sparring. His sword stuck from the ground after she'd knocked it away in primal form.

'You still have five bars...' She thought.

He nodded.

"I'm not gonna make it easy." Trunks said. He smirked and dipped down onto one foot. That booted foot sunk into the already broken ground and vanished from sight.

'Where--?'

She lifted her hand in reflex. Just in time. Trunks fist missed her face and scraped the side of it instead. He pulled it back, aimed for her chest and she caught it within her palm. Her palm twist, rotating his fist and pushed it away.

Not even half a second had passed and his knee rammed her stomach so hard she was sent into the sky. Her breath left painfully from her lungs. Chisato swiveled despite that pain and blocked his raised hands.

"Masenko!" He shouted.

The blast went around her form and hit the ground, bits of grass and debris flying away into the sky.

'My stamina is running out.'

He nodded and dropped to the ground to catch his breath.

"Good defense," he applauded.

"Ano...it's only because I know your attacks very well." She said with a shy smile.

Even after all the time spent together, a simple compliment from her handsome half saiyan husband caused a plethora of endorphins to redden her cheeks. She dipped into a bow, "I'm very grateful you're sparring me."

"It's uh, not a big deal or anything..." Trunks said. He rubbed the back of his head and added, "Er...let's end it then."

Their fight continued for another ten minutes with Chisato the victor. It was nice knowing she'd won on her own, without the harsh threat of death upon failure.

Once again she gave thanks to the King of Time for fixing her corruptions. It was peaceful, knowing her life there wasn't so fixed on constant worry.

They came back inside hand in hand just as Tie darted from the dining room. Peanut butter stuck to the side of his tiny face as he hopped into the air and said, "No fair! You had fun without me!"

"Sorry Tie. Next time, it'll just be us." Trunks said. He ruffled Tie's straight dark hair and smiled gently.

It was clear to Chisato that Tie loved his father Trunks an awful lot. Knowing that, she leaned onto her husbands arm and giggled a little.

Pan came from her fathers room wearing a white T-shirt and shorts. She crashed into Tie and they hit the wall, Tie squashed beneath her.

"Hehe! Tie, you're so cute! I can't believe it." Pan giggled again as Tie struggled to free himself. Even being a Legendary Super Saiyan couldn't save him from the love of his half sister Pan. He frowned and pushed her away to no avail.

"Lemme goooo," he grumbled.

Their cuteness came from Pan knowing that Tie had been the baby she'd been waiting to grow up. There was no way she'd let him escape her affection.

"I kind of feel bad for him." Trunks said with a chuckle.

"They're very sweet." Chisato replied. She yawned a little and looked over the wreckage that once led upstairs to her bedroom. "Would it be okay if I took a little nap?"

"Sure. I'll watch these two."

With a kiss to Trunks, Chisato drifted off from the noise of two children to the couch within Gohans study. It was the nearest quiet place to rest.

Knock

Knock

"Come in."

She shut the door behind her and leaned on it. Her mate and 'brother' Gohan kept typing away at his keyboard.

"Ano...is it.." she began.

"Go ahead." He answered. His chocolate eyes glanced up for half a second, taking in her wrecked clothes. "Ha ha. Looks like you had fun."

"W-Well yes. But I seem to be tired from all of that."

Chisato sat down and got cozy on his couch, pulling the throw blanket meant for Pan over her. She turned into the fetal position and watched Gohan casually until her eyelids shut.

Real World, Yokohama

Reimu and Marisa split up in search of the villain Sephiroth. They found him nearing Shallots' apartment, no doubt intent to put a stop to their plan to foil his own. At first Reimu was concerned about Shallot, but as she got closer to inspect, the outside of his apartment complex didn't look endangered at all. In fact, it looked the same, and the Kai Zamasu who followed her confirmed her thoughts.

"That idiot seems to be fine. With any luck, he's well on his way to finding the Dragon Balls." Zamasu said to her right.

Reimu focused her attention on Sephiroth. His white hair was hard to miss, as was the black leather clothing. Even more rare his Masemune. It's length looked ridiculous to her.

"I'm going down," she told Zamasu.

"Very well."

Zamasu watched Reimu descend down to the balcony. Sephiroth, in the attached dining room, turned and gave her a mysterious smile. His green Mako eyes glittered brightly. "Your plan was very effective. However..." he stepped closer, "my companion and I are already a step ahead."

"Chih.." Reimu clicked her tongue.

His stare was unnerving. It seemed to see into her very soul and beyond it, finding everything. Sephiroth moved his sword a little, tilting its shiny tip at her face. "Your powers are formidable. Even more than Cloud...let's see who's will is stronger."

Reimu struck out her purification rod. It was time to face him again.

She just hoped her new powers would be enough.

??? Japan

Shallot heard the 'beep beep' on the Dragon Radar growing louder.

"Heh! I'm so close!"

He zipped over an electric pole, knocking it a little in his haste, and threw his hand up at a man who was shaking his fist from the window of his small modern car.

Shallot was close. He could feel it.

The ringing of the Radar had struck gold. Just ahead, beyond three building and a street light, lay a shining object resting lazily atop a pile of trash inside a recycling bin. Shallot tapped down and dashed over, hopped into the stinking dumpster and nabbed the red ball.

"It's the three star. Sweet."

He popped it into a hoi poi capsule and smirked.

'This is too easy.'

After seeing that the Radar displayed another one already, he made way for the south and its general direction. Just where he'd be going he had no idea, but it was near the Japan Sea.

Several minutes passed while he flew top speed over the city, past it, and the bay. Finally, after realizing the ball he needed was down in the water, Shallot cursed his bad luck. "Time to get wet I guess. Man...this is going to be cold."

He took a deep breathe and dove into the water.

"Shit!"

As he thought, it was freezing cold. His bone froze solid. But there was a job to be done and he'd do it, dammit. Even if it meant hypothermia.

'Wait...I'm being an idiot.'

With a smirk he transformed into Super Saiyan God.

'Much better!'

The cold didn't bother him, now that he was burning hot with God energy.

Shallot swam into the deep blue sea of Japan, able to see thanks to radiating red energy glowing from his body. Several schools of fish made a mad dash away from him in fear, and he even saw a shark or two turn tail and swim away.

Like that he swam and swam, keeping an eye on the Radar, until spotting something glittering in the mouth of cave at the bottom of the ocean.

That's right, he was at the bottom of the ocean, and the pressure was nothing compared to the Time Chamber. He looked around, noting the strange new fish and sea monsters that would break records, before flitting his feet back. He took a run on the dark ocean floor and crashed into the cave entrance.

"Glub."

One bubble of oxygen left his lips. He was fighting hard to stay down there, and his lungs were on fire. Still, that damn Dragon Ball had to be retreived, and he was the one to do it.

Shallot snagged it into his hand and choked a little.

He had mere seconds left to get to the surface before his urge to breathe became too much.

One...

Two...

Three...

Using the last of his oxygen, Shallot dipped into the turtle hermit style and mouthed, "Kamehamehaaa!"

Dooooom

The large blue blast shot him up and out of the ocean within one second, thanks to the forceful impact.

What he didn't account for was the tsunami that would follow that smooth move.

He shot out of the water and heard a massive rumbling.

"Ha..ha..ha.." he gasped in air, seeing the ocean begin to wave and roll. A bad feeling sank into his stomach and lodged there.

"Great, now I've done it." He grit his teeth and charged his energy.

It was up to him to save all of Yokohama from going underwater.
