Journey to Tviay Town

A week has passed, and Apta is done with his business. His business with it was done, he had just finished though there was a slight problem with their attitude and rules.

Apta had gotten directions from Marco when he separated from him a week ago. Those directions became information for Apta in his journey in this world. What he got was guidance on how the condition of this country was rather uncomfortable. Even so, there are still some kind people who are willing to help Apta get him to where the President is.

Marco had told him that the girl, who had helped him and even taught him how to create a Barrier, was from one of the clans that the President was related to. The girl's name is Isty Yamada, a member of the Yamada family.

Apta must go to the city to look for her and meet her. Isty is at her family's house which is located east of the town of Tviay. Also, Apta had to change his clothes so he wouldn't be too flashy as if he was a forest boy. It was Marco's suggestion for him. That was why currently Apta had found a less flashy outfit, which he had earned through his actions towards the knights. He had gotten clothes made of silk, not leather, which made him inconspicuous.

"He said that this is a Kimono, the basic attire of the residents of Tviay town. Then, why does he have it? Doesn't he work for a noble family?" Apta asked while continuing his journey towards the town of Tviay. "It's really weird, even if it's for me who is just being a human being."

He had gotten the clothes from a knight who wanted to return to the village after a week had passed. The outfit he's wearing is called Kimono, he called it that when he gave it to Apta.

The kimono was slightly blackish, had long sleeves and was able to cover Apta's entire arm, had a size that didn't cover the way Apta's feet walked so that Apta wouldn't fall from stepping on it, and was made of fine silk.

Seen by the eye, the Kimono he was wearing was so ordinary. Maybe because Apta was the one wearing it as his clothes, the Kimono looked so elegant it seemed as if it looked expensive. That's because Apta suits wearing that, and after all, the mix between his skin tone, hair, and Kimono fits perfectly. Anyone who sees Apta now, be it male or female, will probably like the Kimono. It's like you have a man who has a handsome face that fits into the clothes that other people usually wear.

In addition to getting Kimono, Apta also gets a weapon that can be used by him. It was a sword, a long sword that a knight gave him. Thanks to what he did, he prevented the knights from returning to the village and obtained the two items. It was in his favor before he arrived in Tviay town.

Walk, keep walking, his journey to Tviay town is only done by walking. It was the first time for him to walk on a journey. What he used to do when he was still the God of Void was to teleport here and there quickly, even if that was the simplest way to travel easily. His teleport speed is like lightning, it only takes less than 1 second. But now, Apta feels how difficult it is to travel by walking on both feet.

"I'm tired. I need a little rest, and these clothes make it a little difficult for me to walk."

He finally gave up after walking for 30 minutes.

Deciding to take a break was a good choice for him. He had to rest before finally falling completely because his legs could not withstand the injuries he sustained.

He had fought before, which resulted in both his legs being injured. His battles with the knights, only to defend them from going to the village again to collect taxes from them, had made him realize that he was fighting as an ordinary human. Even if he has skills in martial arts, Apta is still an ordinary human.

The wounds on both calves of his legs made Apta know that he could die at any time. If he made a mistake in a fight and was injured more badly than that, he would die without being able to make his goals in this world work. Something that would be useless, he didn't like that. That's why he will be very careful when doing something and predict what will happen next to his actions.

"This is enough. Before the sun goes down, I have to get there."

Evening came and Apta knew that darkness would interfere with his journey later. He had to get to the town quickly before it got dark and interfered with his vision. After all, judging from his surroundings, Apta didn't see any lighting items there, like the ones in that village. Therefore, when it got dark, Apta could only rely on the light from the stars, and that wasn't enough for him.

One thing he knew for sure was that when night came, the monsters and demons in this world would be more aggressive than usual. He realized that when the mist enveloped entire his body as night fell. The mist felt like it was trying to enter his mind. And what he knew when he was still the God of Void, such a mist came from Hell that always enveloped the demons.

Apta knows that there is something strange in this country. It was the mist that marked it. That kind of mist should be in Hell, not in this world. There must be one Demon Lord residing in this country, who brought the mist to make the monsters and demons more aggressive than usual.

The thing he was most afraid of was that he would meet a demon. Even if it is a weak demon, Apta is afraid to face it. His strength is not yet capable of fighting demons and even monsters, so Apta can't fight them. They have magic that can kill Apta in the blink of an eye, and it's very dangerous.

The thing that should be done on his journey this time is to "be careful" in life as a human. Even with the slightest wound, Apta still has to be careful. This world was not a world he was familiar with, his body was not a body that possessed strength beyond anything else, and his skills were only in his martial arts; be it using weapons or bare hands. Apta is not a god, but an ordinary human who if hit by a sword blade in his chest will die.
