"What about the sword?" Xiao San pondered.

Xiao San slowly entered the Devil Soul Forest. Just when he entered, he felt a chill creep up his spine. It was the Evil God's power making his body and mind strangely tense and he took matters seriously. He knew he had to fight many creatures to get stronger and not shy away from danger. Xiao San, thus, steeled his motive took out an ordinary looking iron sword and kept walking forward. Suddenly, a ferocious beast with a lion head and golden mane and two tails came in front of him from the bushes. It was just the size of a 12 year old kid but the bloodlust it sent out seemed to say something else.
"System! What beast is it?"
"Master, this is a 20 year old Gold Elemental Ligress. It's striking features are the two tails it has. It generally attacks with Gold Elemental Attacks. Please be careful. Gold attribute is a metallic element and thus deals more damage when used offensively."
"Frick! Hohhh! Whoooshhh!" Xiao San inhaled a mouthful of air. He muttered in his mind 'Maximum EFFORT!!! Hahh!'
"Chaotic Sword Style – First form! Rending Slash!!!" Xiao San howled.
Xiao San jumped and brought his sword down while rotating his body a full 360 degrees while in air creating a tilted Qi filled slash that travelled through the Air creating a Hisss sound striking the Ligress. The beast roared with pain and frustration because it underestimated the kid in front of him because it felt the Soul strength of the kid was weak. But it was a big mistake. The slash ended up making a big gash on the Ligress's body and one of the tails was cut too. The Ligress opened its mouth to charge An attack while Xiao San attacked again in succession just after the first attack landed.
"Chaotic Sword Style – Second form! Sideways Stab!!!"
Xiao San sprinted towards the Ligress clenching his teeth and slid through the dirt to bring his body down while pointing his sword upwards and stabbing the beast. Just when the sword stabbed the beast, he forcefully twisted the sword and made it go to deeper and a soft sound came.
'Puchi' Blood started gushing out of the wound and the beast lost the light in its eyes. The beast was dead!
"Hahh! Hahh! Hahh! Woah, the adrenaline rush was so cool! But I am somewhat tired. It seems I overdrew on my strength. Let me eat some bread and rest and then go hunting again! System sell the beast body."

Xiao San gulped a healing potion of Grade D to heal his body properly and sprinted back to the forest. The Sun was starting to set and he was worried that Grandpa Jack may be worried for him. He sprinted for 15 minutes and reached Holy Spirit Village. The gatekeepers were worried because they knew a child has gone for a long time in the morning and he was the Chief's adopted grandson. They started wondering if the kid had entered the Devil Soul Forest which no one dared to enter and would never come back. They started feeling sad for Grandpa Jack. But after a few minutes they saw a kid sprinting towards their village and they let out sighs of relief seeing the kid is finally back. They opened the gate and welcomed him in while also asking him why he took so much time to return.
"Yo brat! Where did you go huh! The Sun has almost set. Did you go to the Devil Soul Forest!?" The gatekeepers asked with horror.
"No Uncle! It's just that after I was done with running around to exercise my body, I sat under a tree's shade and dozed off. So I was late." Xiao San lied.
"But why are your clothes torn in some places?" The Gatekeepers asked suspiciously.
'Shit, these Uncles are way too observant.' I have to somehow find a way out.
"Three bandits surrounded me once while I was exercising. They saw my fancy clothes and started demanding money. I had to fight them, that's why my clothes are a bit in shambles. "That's because, the Devil Soul Forest has abundant amount of those attributes and thus their influence was higher on you." System answered.
"Hmm. I see. Well, let's take some rest and later go to the celebrations. System please wake me up in an hour."
"Yes Master… Taking a rest after arduous activity is good for cultivation." The System answered with a hint of annoyance in its voice but Xiao San didn't notice it and dozed off.
