Case of a Robbery

Chapter-30: back to home.

All officers had decided for celebration.

Police Station had a huge area for function.

They had setup tables and chairs. All cars were parked outside and all officers were outside. They still are in Police uniform.

All were happy.

 Vick was inside his cabin and packing his bag. After sometime he came out and see the arrangements.

"Today…I think Police Station is closed?"

Lisa answered, "just for few hours. After that it will start."

Vick, "This type of arrangements usually done at night?"

May was hearing all this. "Vick…we are Police and we don't have time…whenever we get time we enjoyed."

Vick shake his head and take a chair.

Madam Pronica called him.

Ring.

Ring.

He picks up the call.

Pronica, "Vick…ready?"

Vick, "…yes."

Phone cut.

All tables are set up. Tables were covered with white cloth and chairs also. All officers were happy, they called both Famous tea stall and Food court and German were also there who is busy in searching food of his choice.

All 5 owners of Queens Restaurant were also there. After sometime all 4 friends of Vick and Mr. Dude were also coming.

All officers were happy. Everyone enjoying the celebration.

Now, rest of superior officers came including Sargent Moris and Captain Will. Both are happy more than any other officer because they both know what happen next.

Madam Pronica also arrived.

All officer gives her salute. She was happy because case is solved but she was little bit upset also.

Lisa, Eleena and May three of them went close to madam for welcome her.

Pronica asked about her chair and V also. She took her seat and few moment Vick came and take a seat on the same table.

Pronica, "so…did you tell them?"

Vick was looking around. He was seeing happiness of all officers. They were talking about case and what happened when they chase those robbers.

"No yet… after celebration I will tell them."

…

Pronica, "ok… I don't know what they think about department, after today."

Vick smiled…

Celebration get over, within in two hours.

Sargent Moris take a mic and stand in middle of everyone and asked, "please everyone stand… and say good by to our officer Vick.

Everyone start muttering with each other and asking each other "What he is saying?"

He hands over mic to Vick and take his seat.

…

There was silence but having questions on their faces.

Pronica muttered with herself, "thanks Moris…you made our work easy."

…

Vick stand having mic on his hand.

"Yes… it's true"

….

"I was called back by the department only for solving this case and now I have to go back from where I came from."

Eleena start arguments with him.

"you have been resigned… department told this to me."

Vick, "it's not true…"

…

"Today is my last day."

Lisa stand and asked, "when did you know about this?"

Vick, "first day, when we are in headquarter."

FLASHBACK.

Madam Pronica take Vick to another room for a private talk.

Pronica, "you should go back because department hired you only for this robbery case only…"

He got wondered, "those officers out there…know about this?"

Pronica, "no…they won't because this is department decision."

Vick, "if I accept then what will I get…?"

Pronica… "service gun and a letter from headquarter. Nothing else."

Vick, "ok… I will accept."

Pronica shock… "Vick?"

Vick, "madam department needs me and I will help them…weather they signed me back or not."

PRESENT.

All officer face color change.

After knowing this…there was silence environment.

Officers start making arguments about department but Vick make all officers calm.

He went inside and take his one bag out. He tied that bag on his bike.

His all 4 friends came close to him and said "Take care."

All 5 girls came and said him "Take care."

One by one all officers say good by to him. May turns came she also say good by but Vick said her, "from now onwards… you cannot able to ride my bike."

He smiled.

"Ok… I should leave." He looks at madam Pronica… "ok madam… I had completed my duty."

He went to his bike and said, "Famous, Court and German… I will remember you a lot."

He looks at May… then ride his bike out of the Police Station.

Moris and Will both be happy and they also went to headquarter.

Madam Pronica also went to headquarter.

Next day all officers were in Police Station on their chairs. Patrolling units were also there. Some officers were looking at his cabin.

Lisa, Eleena and Mya were sitting outside on Famous tea stall.

Lisa said in her low voice, "he is gone now but left some questions behind."

Eleena, "what questions?"

She replied…

"Why department do this to him?"

"How officers of headquarter know him and why they feared from him?"

"Why Moris and Will hate him so much?"

And most important. "Why he killed 21 people?"

These are the questions he left behind.

But May having other question in her mind.

"What are you thinking?" asked by Eleena.

May said, "Lisa you left the biggest question?"

Lisa, "what?"

May… "TO WHOM I LOOK LIKE?"

Somewhere in one of four major cities.

All local scoundrel starts running to their BOSS. Their boss used to live in different place. His area was covered with fence. Huge house covered with local scoundrels having rods, base ball bat and hokey stick on their hand.   

"BOSS…officer Vick."

Their BOSS was sitting inside a room, face towards window having cigar on his right hand. His right hand on armrest with burning cigar.

His rest 10 boys were sitting on sofa wearing black suit with different hairstyle.

That scoundrel and all 10 boys were looking at back side of chair. That chair was big, red in color.

Their BOSS speaks up. His voice was heavy.

"Call … our 4 friends and asked them about any new order."

That man said, "yes BOSS."

And went down.

In Orphanage.

All children were happy to see V back and feels very happy. Lulu was happier than anyone.

Duke, "hey !!... tonight, food menu…?"

Vick start thinking and said… "tonight we will have a fish."

Duke wondered, "from where?"

Vick smile and said, "we will go for fishing."

Both start packing bags, take a box and fishing rod.

"Let's go."

They are about to move but Lulu asked, "I should go."

Vick said, "ok…let's go."

They start their car and move on.

Three of them came back at noon.

Mother Mary asked, "why she went with you?"

Duke, "she wants to enjoy…"

Vick aske from back, "Lulu change your dress."

Mother Mary, "why…what happen?"

Duke, "Vick give her a big fish to hold but that fish was little bit stronger than her and… she falls on river."

Mother Mary laughed and Lulu look at her and told V, "V…I want that fish to eat."

And went inside.

Both pick up one box and went inside.

At kitchen when Duke and Sara were cooking mother Marth came and ask about his behavior.

They both replied… "mother …he is normal."

"Ok" …then mother Martha leave from kitchen.

At night when everyone was eating.

Grandmother asked Vick, "Son…"

Vick, "yes grandmother."

Grandmother put her hand on his head "are you happy? Because we all know what you like the most."

He grabs her hand, "Grandmother…that time, they need my help… I went for help them. If they want me there?... I will go."

…

"This is what you teach us."

Grandmother, "but my Son."

Vick, "Grandmother leave that topic… food is getting cold."

After few seconds…

Lulu shout, "V…look…"

She points her finger towards window "there is a rain going outside."

He said, "today you already…get wet…eat your fish…"

At night everyone went for sleep.

But Vick was not slept yet. He was standing on window side and looking outside. Water drops were falling from glass. He took his phone, in that phone all officers had saved their numbers. He wants to call them but he did not and throw his phone on bed.

Rain was happening outside.

In that heavy rain.

A girl was running on the road of Victoria Land. She was running and 5 man were running behind her.

CATCH HER.

CATCH…

HEY…STOP.

She was keeps on running. She look on her left and right but there was no one. She was feared…only thing that she can do… is run for her life.

Man running behind they had a call.

"Hello."

"Got the girl?"

"No… she is still running."

"Kill her…"

All man stops running.

One of them took out his gun and shoot on her back. She falls down but still alive. She was losing her breath. Those men were about to shoot one more time but she died.

Bullet sound was very high due to which Police who are out for night round the saw her.

They ran towards her but she was dead.

One of the officers took out his Woke-Toke.

"Hello…control room."

"Hello…"

Replied came "yes officer. Over."

"Sir we found a dead body of a girl. Send an ambulance her. Over."

Both officer asking each other "what is going on?"
