Chapter-3: Code name Tiger.

Duke reached at the orphanage.

Flashback.

It was red boundary wall and on entrance gate was black color over gate… there was a name written.

MOTHER TERASE ORPHNAGE HOME.

…

"So, you stay here. Hmm. This is your home."

Vick show him where to park his car.

Duke saw a parking area on right side of gate where 2 buses, a car was standing. Vick came out from car and went to left side where all three mothers were sitting on chairs with Sara. Children's were playing around.

"Mother look… your favorite son Vick, is back with another car and new friend."

He was smiling and take a seat.

Grandmother, "so, you lost one more job!!"

"Yeah!!"

Duke park his car and came there.

"Duke take a seat."

He was looking around.

Behind mothers there was another house which was small, red in color and wall were filled with flowers for decoration.

He looks at home.

It was huge two story, red in color, entrance on front side… wooden door, roof top was tapered and it was a very big area where house was built.

Present.

Naomi and Henry both surprises.

"We didn't see any separate house!!"

Duke, "there was… that time… renovation work was going on. That's why you did not notice that."

…

May, "move forward!!"

Flashback.

Duke meet everyone and slowly he gets familiar with everyone. Time start passing… Duke start dealing with accounts of home and other work also. He uses to give salary of all those people who work there like Gardner, security guard, car washer.

Sara also impressed with him and distance between them start decreasing. Both getting closer to each other.

One day when both were on kitchen, making dinner for everyone. Duke got a Sara phone. He opened and saw wallpaper in which there was seven girls standing on different poses and a small little girl in front.

"Sara… whose picture is this? And this small girl is Lavis."

Sara took his phone back from him and said that don't speak about this picture in front of Vick.

Duke was surprised.

On dinner table.

Everyone was eating their food.

Duke was sitting with Sara and Lulu was sitting with Vick.

"V… pass that fish."

"Lulu… you already had one then why do you want?"  

Mother Mary, "let her eat…"

Children's were playing on table.

Sara, "hey!! don't play."

…

Duke asked in love voice.

"Sara… from one month I am looking that small girl. She is too much close to him… She is also close to you but…"

Sara knows what he wants to ask.

"Duke… later after having dinner, I will tell you everything."

After finishing dinner.

All children's take their dishes with themselves and washed. Even mothers also washed their dishes.

Vick went outside towards separate small house.

Duke and Sara sit in the hall and all children's take mothers with themselves for watching tv.

Both were watching all children's and mothers.

"Sara… there is many questions in my mind and I."

He was about to speak more but she spoke in between.

"Vick… his real name, with love sometime we used to call him V also, that small girl name Lavis… nick name Lulu. She is sister of our friend who went far away from us."

After saying this Sara gets silent.

"Where her sister gone?"

She had a fake smile on her face. "She is dead and Lulu does not know this. But before she died… she handover her responsibility to Vick."

…

"Why Vick name is start from V… it should be W."

"I also don't know about this but mothers know this."

…

She opens her phone and show a picture. "Look this is her elder sister. Swan. She was from China."

Present.

May, "Did she look like me?"

Duke smiled.

"No… you look like her."

…

"In that picture she had a long hair till her waist."

…

"You are beautiful, you look like her but you are far away from her."

Sara give her phone to May and show her picture.

May was surprised.

"My God…"

…

"After that, what happen?"

Flashback.

"Sara what about income?"

"He had opened an account in the name of this orphanage, where different people donate money. He also constructed 20 apartments from where we get rents. He also open garage for me and a grocery store in town side. He also opened a small hospital in town. He also used to work and his friends send money."

"Friends?"

"Yes… he does have friends. They also live here but now they are in army and he is in Police."

Duke was surprised after knowing this.

That moment.

It was 11 o'clock at night. All three mothers went for sleep. Sara stand and start sending children's back to their room.

"Ok… everyone. Go to your bed… don't want to go school tomorrow."

Lulu laughed.

"Hahaha."

"Sara… tomorrow is Sunday."

When everyone went inside their room. Duke stop Sara.

"School fees?"

"OH!! Duke… everything is managed by Vick by himself. We just used to help him when he is not here."

…

"No more questions. Good night."

Sara went to her room which was attached to young girls room. She closed the door.

…

Duke was talking with himself.

'Amazing he is outside and they all went for sleep.'

Present.

Officers, "What happened that night anything serious?"

He moves his head up and down.

"Yes."

…

"I saw something which I don't want to see."

Flashback.

That night, he was cleaning the hall.

That time… he saw that Vick room door was slightly opened. He entered inside his room. Switch on lights and look around.

Whole room was cleaned, there was no bed… only mattress was there over a huge plywood. Wooden table having laptop and a bundle of money.

He was looking around and see on his right side. There was a small table having a group photo of Ashley, Jane, Suzana, Shasha, Payal, Sara and Swan with her sister in front of restaurant.

 There was another photo of Swan and Lavis. That picture Swan grab Lavis with her both hands from behind.

Side of that picture… there was a key ring. That key ring was like peacock feather. He was about to touch it but, someone stopped me from behind.

"Why did you enter this room?"

Sara was standing on entrance. He was shocked.

"Sara I was… just."

Sara grab his hand and take him out from that room.

"Duke… you should not know about this. Otherwise he can do anything."

Duke was totally confused and remove her hand from his hand.

"What the hell. Why everyone feared from him? he is not scary."

She locks the door back and take Duke away from room.

…

She took long breath.

Duke, "Sara, I saw an envelope… over that… FOR TIGER was written. What's that mean? Who is Tiger?"

That argument time Vick entered. He heard last three words said by Duke.  

Who is Tiger?

"It's me."

Both were shocked.

"When I was in Police… in mission time we use to have code names. And Tiger was my code name."

Vick was surprised. "Who told you about this?"

…

Both looking each other face. Sara spoke with uttering.

"A… I… I told him."

…

"OH!! go and… good night."

He entered inside his room and both went to their rooms.

Both start moving upstairs while talking.

"We do not fear from him but we do not want to see that Vick again."

…

"Go to your room and GOOD NIGHT."

Present.

Myra was surprised.

"I had seen many times… when we used to go out for work Big Sir use to kiss that key ring. I was wondered why?"

Ashley smiled.

In very pain full voice. "Because that key ring was made up of Swan ashes."

…

All officers shocked.

 May, "means?"

Sara, "means after her death. He collects her ashes and converted into a key ring so that she always stays with him."

…

"Whenever he kisses that ring… he remembered her."

Lisa asked a question.

"Ashley… from where he got money for buying land for making home, he makes apartments, hospitals, stores and having cars. How… from a Police job… it is impossible."

Duke smiled.

 "Yes… you are wright. Some scoundrels used to give money so that they could run their work."

…

Pronica, "this is wrong."

Duke, "Yes… it is wrong but if you take money from them and donate on different places. Then…"

"He told me that I used to do wrong things but not like that even humanity feels shame of me."

…

"Madam… doing wrong work is bad but doing wrong work for someone help… I think it is wright."

"Why he used to threat? And when did you know about reason behind his suspension."

This question asked by May. Duke was looking at her, he saw that she eagerly wants to know that.

Duke was silent.

"Hey!! I am asking something to you."

Flashback.

After some days.

Everyone is outside, Duke asked Sara that she did not go for her work. She said that you have to learn many things more.

After this he notice that children were very happy. He asked reason behind this but she told him that why don't he asked them?

…

When he asked them reason behind their happiness? They said that very soon there will be Lavis birthday. Everyone will come here from different places.

He was thinking but Vick called me from behind.

"Duke… let's go. Take your car… we had to buy many things from market."
