Chapter-31: biggest suspension.

Vick was standing in front of the Judge. There was a female Judge. He was standing. Just standing. Both hands were tied up with handcuffs. He was not wearing the cloth which is used for the culprit, he was still wearing those blood Mark dresses.

The Judge, "officers Vick. We had a report that you had been killed… 7 politicians, 8 police officers, 7 criminals."

…

"Explain to us… why?"

He did not answer, he kept standing silently without uttering a word from his mouth. The Judge bangs her wooden hammer on the table. But he does not respond to her. All the officers were sitting on the bench and crushing their teeth. Pronica stands up and asks permission to talk with him. She got permission and she talked to him but he did not reply to her. She knew why he had done this because she got informed by Dude.

For saving him… she quickly turned her attention from him to the Judge. She tried to save her but she failed.

The Judge, "Madam… I can't. He had taken law in his hand… I have to do my work… I had to send him behind those bars for a lifetime."

She was about taken her decision but Pronica stopped her by saying something about him.

"My Lord… we all know about the works which he had done in his career. He had cleaned all those areas where we had sent him."

"We all know the result of his work. If he will be behind those bars… then what will happen we all know. His coordination with all officers makes everyone safe."

The Judge starts thinking about her words. Pronica was muttering inside for him.

After a few minutes,

The Judge had taken up her decision. But before she says something, she gives him a last chance to say something. But he does not speak. She was about to speak but got stopped by him.

"It was wrong." In a cold voice.

Vick, "I had done wrong but… when I saw those officers and our Political leaders had joined their hands with them… I lost my control."

"They killed my children of my house. Those small kids don't even know about anything but then also they killed them."

…

"I know that I have done wrong and I don't fear from doing this. That's all I have to say. Rest up to you."

The Judge, "I will announce my decision after two hours."

The court session stopped there. Pronica went to the Judge room. There was an argument between both of them. Pronica forced her to let him free but she also had to think.

The Judge, "stop sister… I don't know why… Why do you support him so much?"

…

"Ok… but I have made a decision and YOU have to accept that."

Court session started again.

The Judge, "after listening… this court had made his decision. Officer Vick had done many good works and due to his work… people of the city are safe but we also cannot let him free after knowing his work."

"So, Officer Vick should be suspended from his work and he has to leave the city as soon as possible. From today onwards… Police will erase his records from their database. His name will be erased from the department files… only his data will available with low information, nobody will take his name in the department."

 …

"He will not join the Police force again until his name is written on this case."

She bangs her hammer on the table. Pronica took a long breath. When everyone leaves the court, the Judge calls Pronica. "I will talk to you at home."

Vick went to the restaurant where Lulu was asking questions about her sister and Vick to everyone. He reached the restaurant. He had changed his clothes and put them inside a bag. That bag was on his back. He smiled and said in a sweet voice. "Lulu… your sister said that she had to go somewhere… it was urgent, so she went and she also told me that I will take care of you until she comes back."

…

"OK."

Lulu, "... o… k."

 "What is in this bag?"

He was about to say something but a sound came from the back side. It was Dude. He had two capybaras on his hand.

"Lulu… look what I have for you." She forgot everything and started playing with those capybaras.

Vick, "thank you."

Dude, look at him. His eyes were watered and biting his lips.

"It's ok."

…

"Tomorrow I will come back with cars. Be ready."

After having dinner, everyone is in the hall section of the top floor. Lulu went to sleep… She also had her capybaras on bed. All three mothers were crying for those children.

 Next morning when the sun rises. They all wore black clothes and went to the graveyard side. They had prepared wood for dead bodies. All the children's dead bodies were placed over the iron slab and covered with wood.

They also had a mesh type structure in which they placed Swan's dead body over that mesh. They hide her body with wood. They call Lulu and ask her to burn those bunch of wood. First, she refused but after Vick's explanation, she agreed.

The arrangement was different from others. When wood catches fire, the ashes of wood fall on the side and whatever is in the center… those ashes fall over an iron slab which is below.

Everyone was crying. In the afternoon, Vick collects her ashes which are collected over an iron slab. He had made a peacock feather shaped key ring. He put all her ashes inside that key ring and closed it. He kissed that ring and put it inside his shirt pocket.

Bags were packed in the restaurant and they started leaving but he was surprised to see Sara's bag. He asked her.

"Why?"

 Sara, "you cannot handle her alone… ok."

Lulu came with her capybaras on both hands and sat inside the car. Vick looks behind and gives them a fake smile.

After they leave, Ashley asks everyone to clear all the walls from our pictures. They all remove all pictures from walls.

Payal, "we are seven members but… now, we are again five."

Other friends clean their tears. Ashley, "from today onwards… we don't know him. We all have to leave our past."

At night in an orphanage. Lulu had a separate room but she didn't want that room; she wanted a bed in the girl's hall. Lulu was talking to everyone in the hall before sleeping.

Vick was watching the news.

"Where is Vick?"

"There was a scary environment?"

 "Is he a killer or a hero?"

He turned off the TV and went outside. Eyes were filled with tears. Meanwhile, grandmother put her hand on his shoulder.

"Son!! Don't blame yourself… it was not your mistake."

He cried out.

He hugged her.

"I want to become a Police Officer, it was my dream but this job took everything from me… grandmother."

She tried to give her confidence so that he could become again that Vick which she knew but she failed. Whole night he was sitting on the bench outside the house. Before everyone's wake up… he had something with him. He went inside and took that bag and opened the door of that house which was made by Swan for him and her.

He took out all the pictures of the Swan which he had and placed them on the table. That bag still had blood marked clothes. He left those clothes inside that bag and put that bag inside the table. He also had that axe and money box in which Swan used to put money in the name of her sister every month with him. The place that axe and box over the table and locks the door. Keys was with him so that no one could open the door.

In his room which is inside the house, he put all his stuff and his bike keys over the table. He parked his bike behind the house and covered it. His friends know about his condition. They tried to cheer him up so that he could come out from his past life.

But he still remembers his past.

One day.

He was sitting on the bench. Grandmother came there and sat with him. It was winter time. Child and cold air were blowing, so she had worn warm clothes. Grandmother in a low but sweet voice.

"Son… when we had to give rent for the house… you handle that situation."

…

"You handle everything… without anyone's help. And now, you are weak?"

"Get up again on your feet and handle this house again. Don't forget… who you are?"

… "Due to your work you have been selected as new head of Major Police Station with an increment as… Assistant Chief officer. Code name… tiger."

She stood from her seat and put her hand on his shoulder.

"We need you… this house needs you."

He thinks about all the words said by her.

He realized that she was right and everyone in the house needed him. He went out from the house towards the market section of that place and bought many fish for the night.

When he came back home, he went inside with a huge smile. In a loud voice.

"Everyone… come to me. Tonight… we all will eat fish fry."

He shows fish to everyone and asks Sara to make a fish. She was surprised to see a sudden change at him.

On the dinner table. Lulu sat with Vick and he was smiling.

"Sara… should I open a garage for you and Mercy will go to the hospital which was made by me and Dude."

 They move their head slowly with shock.

"After some days, I will also search a new job."

Everyone ate food with a smile and his friends were also happy and now they can go back to their work without any fear.
