Chapter-25: Ruby is angry.

In front of all the officers, doctors said that Vick had a virus inside his body. That virus is like an antibiotic but it is used to protect him also. Vick was surprised and other officers eagerly listening to the doctors. … They told him that when he was under the attack of that smoke this virus fought with that effect due to which he was screaming and shouting.

That virus which is inside his body stops the effect due to which his eyes become green in color. … He does not understand anything so he asks them to explain to him in short. They told that next time he won't get affected by that smoke. They also said that he is very lucky.

When he was leaving for his office doctors told him that he had to come back because they wanted to tell him something about himself. When they were driving their car, Noor called someone. Vick was driving the car and heard everything. She told that she would come home fast. She looked towards him and said that mother had called her.

Vick, "hmm."

They all reached the Headquarter and looked around. Vick saw that there was nothing happening to the Headquarter, he realized that they all were here for him only.

All officers were sitting in the office but Vick went to the Chief cabin because he wanted to talk to him. Noor wants to know more about Vick and she asks Connor about him. He made a sad face because she never used to ask about him but everyone wants to know about Vick. But then he also asks her what he wants to know.

She told him that she wanted to know about his life, house, family etc.

… He took a long breath and told her about Swan and her sister. He told her about the restaurant which he made for her, he also told her about the orphanage which he had made in the Small-Town Valley. He told her about all his friends which used to give him information about all the activities of scoundrels.

For a second, he didn't even think about why she was asking so many things to him but he kept telling everything to her.

Now, she knew everything about Vick. She said that in the restaurant all his friends used to come to check them all.

Connor, "yes "

She again said that the orphanage is made by him and he also took care of other orphanages.

Connor, "yes."

Noor, "any weakness?"

He quickly looked at her face and she was giving him a very beautiful smile. He got excited and in excitement he told her about his weakness.

He said that Lulu… Swan's little sister, she is the biggest weakness. He told her where she lives, when she used to come and when he used to meet them all. Till now, she knew everything about him and she had a smile on her face. She thought that no one noticed her but Lisa was staring at both of them. She was having questions about Noor and she was wondering what she was asking him.

The news of Vick had already reached Ruby, Kevin and Khalifa. They wondered how he was still standing on his feet, till now he should be dead. Three of them were scratching their heads and crushing their teeth. They were telling each other that they had everything to put him down but he is still out there and searching them all.

… Messages came and all of them went inside the room. Screen turned on and four people covered in a black hood stood and behind them there was the same man, playing chess.

He asked them about the news which they had seen on tv. News reporters were telecasting from the Headquarter and they told me that some unknown people attacked Vick and failed.

… Khalifa said that the smoke affected him but somehow, he is still safe.

… And they don't know how.

That man smiled and told them that they had made their move and now he will take his move. He also told them to stay on high alert because he can do anything.

In the Headquarter, Vick was asking about the warrant from the Chief. He wants to arrest Ruby at any cost. He requested him to give him but the Chief told him that he can't do this because they don't have any evidence through which they can arrest her.

… Vick crushed his teeth and stepped back but the Chief told him that he can use his old tricks.

Vick, "old tricks?" In wonder.

The Chief, "yes… old tricks."

He realized what he wanted to say. He saluted him with a smile and went from his cabin. He entered inside his office and told all officers to get ready because he had to go somewhere. Lisa, "where?"

Vick, "hotel."

Meanwhile, Shortcut came there and he told Vick that whatever happened recently, it was done by Kevin. He also found that Ruby used to operate from the hotel and that hotel is her weakness.

Vick ordered all officers to get ready and they all sat inside their car. He entered the hotel with all his officers and he asked the receptionist to make a call to the owner of the hotel. First, she rejects but he took out his gun and made a fire in the air. All the guests came out from their rooms and asked what happened. All the staff members try to control the situation, one of the staff members makes a call and tells Kevin about him.

In anger she told Kevin to take her there. When she reached there, she was looking very angry and told him to run away from their otherwise she would not leave any of them. He told her that he is here to arrest her because she tried to kill him. Ruby was very angry.

"Proof?"

He does not have any proof so he quickly starts acting and tells her that he will come back with proof in his hand and he will take her.

When he took all his officers back, that time she was staring at him. She asks all the guests to go back to their room and the situation is under control. … She hit her both hands on the reception table in anger. She couldn't handle the press, she was roaming around.

"That's it… Kevin… call everyone."

"Everyone." In an angry voice.

At night, all officers were in their room and Vick was sitting on the chair of the terrace. He was smoking a cigar and May was standing behind holding some papers in her hand. She calls her name from behind and gives all those papers to him and she told him that she had done a very hard work to get this all. He smiled at her.

… She steps back and walks away from him but he requests her to stay there with him. … She was a little bit surprised and slowly steps towards him and takes a seat.

In a sweet voice he asked her about Lulu and she said that she had talked to her and she did something wrong due to which Sara had to go to her school.

… He quickly asked the reason and she told him that she beat two boys in the school and the reason was that they said that he will not be able to solve the case. He started laughing loudly and she was staring at her. She also tried to laugh but stopped because she was happy to see him laughing.

Ruby's mansion was covered with all her people. Kevin was standing in front of those who were inside and they had to lead. He told everyone that they have to capture the Headquarter but they are not going to kill any officer because they want to make them all fear. They had decided to cover all those areas which used to come under a five hundred meters radius of the Headquarter. … They told their snipers about their position and all those people who will stay on the ground.

He also told us about the places from where they all entered.

He told everything to each of them and they knew their work.

Kevin, "Ruby… everything is ready."

Same night, they all spread around the Headquarter and wait for the morning. Ruby will stay in her mansion with her people. She just wants that officer who used to come in her path. Khalifa also got to know about Ruby and he was surprised when he heard that because he had never seen her anger after Holcha's death but now she is very angry.

All four guards knew about her anger, they told the man who used to play chess. When he heard that he stopped his move and placed his bishop back to his place. He stands from his seat and walks towards the window. He was wondering why she got angry. He also knew that she would never get angry after his death. But he left everything aside and thought that if she killed him then there will be no one who can stop him and his dream will become true.

… He had a greedy smile on his face and turned back with that smile and sat on his chair.

"Wait for the message."
